The Vampire glides into the room, dressed in royal colours of black and red. His hair a close-cropped shave of a blonde shade of gold, a black choker wrapped around his slender neck, dark entrancing eyes lined with kohl, lips tinted with a shade of pink and light red... in totality, a potent combination.
His eyes lock with those of his prey, a young female, at the precipice of womanhood. She, in return, locks eyes with the Vampire whom she has not realised as a Vampire and her lips widen and curl upwards at the ends, in a small smile of acknowledgement. The Vampire maintains his eye-contact and utters a single command... "Come."
The ravishing young female takes a step towards the Vampire with killer eyes. She floats up to him slowly and he holds out his hand, as though waiting for lifetimes, for her presence. She enters his hold and melts into his body. He raises his hand and tenderly raises her chin, tilts his head slightly to the right and kisses her lips softly... she sighs... and they become one.
Vampire Glamour. What is it? How does one recognise signs of a Vampire exercising his enchanting powers to lure you into his arms? These, we shall explore in this article, titled, "The Glamour of the Vampire".
Vampire Glamour is a form of telepathic mental compulsion that is particular to Vampires. There could be drawn similarities to hypnotism and mesmerism. A Vampire need only use his eyes, but, he could use his words, intent and will to issue a silent command.
Verbal commands are pertinent to a Vampire's glamour. It is possible for a prey to break eye-contact with a Vampire and look away briefly if and when they come upon the realisation that they are being glamoured.
A prey slips into a trance-like state, becoming very vulnerable to the unspoken, silent commands of the Vampire. The prey is still conscious of her surroundings and environment, but, feels a need to be near and close to the Vampire. The Vampire engages in persuasive conversation while glamouring his prey.
The one soothing consolation to the fact that one may not be able to recognise a glamouring-in-the-process, is that, the effects of a Vampire's glamour will wear off over a short period of time, once eye-contact has been terminated.
Ordinary, regular humans and other beings are extremely susceptible, open and vulnerable to the Glamour of the Vampire. There are times when a being mistakes a friendly approach of the Vampire to be of a menacing nature. This misunderstanding must be avoided. Being drawn and attracted to the Vampire is inevitable. To be glamoured by the Vampire with ill-intent can be avoided, with enough experience, over time.
Give the Vampire a chance to prove himself. If the attraction and glamour is recognised and accepted, who knows, then? You just might have come face-to-face with a real Vampire!
