Vampire Rave Portfolio for Exmortal

I used to put a lot of photographs of my past here for all to see, but I finally realized I was living in the shadows of those sun-filled days... days that I could never return to again.

I call myself Exmortal...
Because that's what I am, an Ex-mortal. I ceased being who I used to be on a chilly foggy night in San Francisco years and years ago. My girlfriend at the time was a bit of a freak who I had shacked up with after meeting her on the Haight at a pot-harvesting party. Her name was Chrystelle, and she was from Brussels Belgium, and her french accent made me purr.

I grew up under the vast skies of the West having all the freedom in the world, yet I felt I had to get out and explore the rest of the World. My Family had high hopes for me and I set out to go to College and become something more than a cattle rancher like my Father and brothers. My first job was on a ranch owned by a woman who pushed me to head west and see the world.

My own interests directed me to study Fine Art. While I was going to school I got picked up by a small modeling agency for a little while and even did a little movie work in Hollywood. I saw acting as an easy way to finance my continued education, but never a life-time career. I wasn't fooling myself into thinking I was ever going to be the next James Dean or Cary Grant. My look was never leading man material. But I was a natural horse rider and playing a heathen savage Indian didn't require too much talent. My first girl (and later my wife) was an actor too.

When war broke
out, I answered
the call just like
everyone else in
those days.

When my tour
of duty ended,
I spent the
required down-time
with my Family
back home, but
I was itching
to find myself.
To tell you the
total truth,
I was kind of
messed up from
the war and I just
needed to blow off
some steam and
feel young and free
again. I headed back
to San Francisco and
that's when I met
Chrystelle and
everything changed.

My past seems like ancient history now.
On my 31st birthday after she and I had dated a few weeks, Chrystelle made me a being like herself during a drug-filled New Year's Eve. After that, she and I hunted the night for about six years, feeding on every race and class of people until she seemed to grow tired of me... I was at least a hundred years younger than she was; an immature child compared to her, and eventually she realized it.

Since then, I have had many companions, both mortal and not. Some were much older than I, that taught me the ways of the night and others were new fledglings that I took under my own wing and taught them what I could.

In the last few years I have chosen to be more of a loner...Still maintaining friendships all over the world but linking with no mortal in-particular. I'm not here to give anyone the big I: Immortality. Those of you who ask me for it, are children who have not lived your own life yet, and you do not know the hellish life you request. Come ask me in twenty years and I will still say No.

My recent interactions with humans on this website have been disasterous and I realize that their jerky struggle with everyday life only expounds on their weaknesses and frailty...
which I find I am not at all gentle enough to embrace without disasterous results.

I have decided not to play with my food any longer.

I am Exmortal.
