That morning I was not yet a vampire, and I saw my last sunrise. I remember it completely, and yet I can't recall any sunrise before it. I watched its whole magnificence for the last time as if it were the first. And then I said farewell to sun light, and set out to become what I became...........

WHEN MY TIME COMES I WILL NOT BE TAKEN, IT WILL BE ON MY TERMS............

Alone I sit on the top of a hill
Thinking of how my unlife has been
Of the pain and the sorrow I've seen
In the eyes of my victims before they lay still.

Though a hunter in darkness I must be
The feelings of guilt always come back
When I sink my teeth in another man's neck
My conscience is the only light left in me.

All I want is to leave the shadows behind
And truly this time I will
For I no longer desire to kill
Thoughts of light are now on my mind.

I'm waiting for the sunrise today
On the lonely hill where I sit
And maybe, I'll catch a glimpse of it
Before the wind blows my ashes away.

THE BEGINING OF ME..............

For those who are interested my name is Troy, born many years ago to a mother and father that were more interested in the circles they moved in, the high society that they mixed with than the idea of becoming parents............

the only thing my mother gave me of interest was my name, that she only came across due to her love of Ancient Greek history, as for anything else..........she could'nt wait to pass me to the Nanny. As for my father, a descent man with vision however not always on the right things.........was easier to buy me something rather than show emotion.........

as the years passed i found the time spent apart from my parents was not as disturbing as most children would, in fact I looked forward to it, the pressing engagements, overseas seminars.........working holidays. It was then that i was left alone to discover a side of me that i did not know existed, a darker side.........a longing for things that others around me did not see as the norm. A strength filled me as the sun would settle, I was more at home in the dark, more at ease......I started to read, to study and to indulge myself in the dark ways.......seeking guidance from the one that brings cold to a body........

as time passed as a family we grew further apart, the old man still thinks we have it going..........so sad, if only he knew how he lost me so long ago, as for her well i guess she never had me to start with...........i dress weird, listen to weird music & hang out with weird people, or so she tells me.....as usual he just try's to keep the peace. If only she knew what lay ahead, My journey is far from over. this is only the begining. I will take my place at the table, i will be looked upon as the link to all things dark..........

my fate is to see the look in her eyes as i take her into my darkness........
