My name is Vanessa. I am 21 years old and a mother to a beautiful baby girl. I work part time as a cashier at a car dealership and I am also in college. I have come to this website almost in hopes of it being an escape. I need somewhere that I can be myself without having someone watch over my shoulder 24/7.

I have also created this profile in hopes that it will re-spark my creativity. I used to write a lot but due to circumstances the last few years, that, unfortunately, has come to a stop. I would like to get to know myself a little better, which I find I can often do through my writing. Writing is one of the greatest forms of expression there is.

For those of you who would like to know, the one thing that intensely interests me at the moment is getting in touch with my spiritual side. I have chosen to study Wicca and do believe that it is the right path for me. I have known several people that have told me my level of energy is incredible, and I hope to use that to my advantage when I get to the point that I begin to try magic. I feel that, with this knowledge, I can conquer anything.

In addition to Wicca, I plan to take on several new projects. I am a very motivated person, at times, more so than others. I plan on making a reading list. I want to read at least 100 books in the next year. I also would like to write a book, and have it published. National Novel Writing Month (November) is just around the corner! Hopefully this year will be the year that I reach my 50,000 words. I would also like to take up some kind of craft project, although I'm not sure exactly what, yet. Basically what I'm saying is, I enjoy being busy! I have trouble shutting down sometimes. I need a lot of activity to keep me focused and energized.
