My name is Brad and I moved to Las Vegas, NV from Long Beach, CA about 5 years ago. I first came upon the occult about 18 years ago, when I met a large group of gothic kids. I wasn't exactly popular back then so these people took me in and didn't judge how nerdy or what I was in general. This is the time when I started hanging out at Disneyland in Anaheim, CA. It was here that I met even more gothic people and became more and more drawn into this culture. Now of course my parents weren't exactly happy, seeing me with these dark individuals. Now what was funny to me back then is that I could have been hanging out with gangsters or total thugs. Things that I thought were far far worse than what I had found.

So I learned a lot from these people and grew to love the whole scene. This was a love for magic, vampires, werewolves and the supernatural. I have tried to learn over the years as much as possible, but after the age of 22 I was almost forced into the general society. What I mean by this is the fact that I had to get a full time job that might even be a career, which has totally thrown me off the path of what I actually ever wanted. But unfortunatly money rules the world and I have made some expensive bills to go along with my high salary. Bad decisions early on have driven me to be stuck needing a high salary to survive. Okay enough rambling...

When I came upon this website a week ago I got quite excited. I have certain questions about powers that I have noticed in myself and in people around me. My curiousity grows bigger by the moment. What I'm hoping to get from VR is friendship, knowledge and hopefully the concentration and meditation to hone these unknown powers I have stumbled upon. It's really hard for me to know if what I'm saying is making sense, or even if I'm coming off the wrong way. But soo far I have received nothing but friendly honesty from everyone here, and that is probably the thing I appreciate the most from this site.
