The cold winds of change of the season to fall is upon us. I love this change as I was born in Autumn and just watching the trees change colors always makes me smile. As the winds and the rains come I love just sitting in my favorite chair with a quilt and a cup of tea watching the season change. I see lots of wildlife out my window and see the deer hides change from a rich brown to a dull grey, the birds of summer are gone, the sound of the wolves and coyotes are now louder. The mornings are crispy and I love to have my windows open for awhile to let that in to freshen the house before the long winter comes. I love to go out and gather wood for our fireplace and love to hear the crack and snap of the wood as it takes on the fire and burns, the heat of it warming our living room. I love going into our kitchen and making warm bread, and cookies making the house smell amazing.

Having a farm helps when you love the country and all the things that come with it. A sense of accomplishment when your animals are fed and bedded down in warm straw. I am a stay at home wife and mother of an 11 year old this month, yes I had my rainbow baby rather late in my 40's and I would never change that for anything. I also have a step daughter who is 19 and I love her just as much.

I am an artist and crafter and I love sewing bits of fabrics into quilts, table cloths, pillow cases, tea towels and such. I am just a beginner in this but I love making something out of nothing. I am not into horror and such but I do not care if you are that is your business. I am not a pushover, so do not mistake my kindness for weakness. I have been around the block for more years than I dare to say out loud, so I know when someone is lying to me, trying to get sympathy or trying to get attention in the wrong ways. I know how to read between the lines of any kind of bull crap that anyone cares to try on me.

I am far to old for games of teenagers and children, I do not give a &O*)(&)& about your private lives or your personal problems. I am not going to be your punching bag and or personal bartender that will sit and listen to your whining about how hard your life is. Darling I have been there done that and I can tell you that life is hard and if someone tells you different that is on you.

I have tolerance for people and have a live let live mentality but I will not compromise my own beliefs on how I see things so please do not try to convert me into your way of thinking and or doing things that I do not agree with.

I love people and love meeting all kinds of people, I have respect for people who are kind, compassionate, loyal, fun to be with, laugh with, trust is earned and not given kind of people. Honesty is key to any foundation and in my own life I am a happily married WOMAN to a wonderful MAN for 5 glorious years. I will never ever compromise my marriage for anyone.

I have been here off and on for years and only come here when I am kind of bored or to seek out new FRIENDSHIPS only. If I stay here I will and if not I will not.
