My name is Sarah. I'm 46 years old and live in the beautiful state of Missouri. I'm happily married to DarkOsmosis and we are the proud parents of 2 sons. We are also parents of 4 spoiled feline children by the names Fergus, Rowena Papillion, Sushi and a bearded dragon named Mojo.

A little history and who I am:

I grew up in a 2 story farm house in rural Missouri. And when I say rural, I mean smack dab in the middle of Mark Twain National Forest. My parents were bona-fide hillbillies. I was raised with 2 younger sisters and we ran the fields and forests like feral children of the forest. We played in the crystal clear creek that flowed behind our house and played hide-n-seek in the cornfield at night. We caught frogs, butterflies and fireflies and were in constant wonder of the world around us. We were innocent.

As we grew into adulthood, reality of the world around us started to set in. We realized that our magical upbringing didn't prepare us for the cruelties of the world around us. It was jolting. But, we were raised by amazing people who taught us that family, love and nature were the most important parts of life. They loved us unconditionally and taught us life skills that we have utilized time and time again throughout our lives. Our raising molded us into a different breed of person and I am forever grateful that our parents gave us that gift.

I met my husband at the age of 18. We married 7 months later. In 4 more years, we had our first son and had our second son 5 years later. It has been a life of ups and downs. We were not born into money. In fact, it was quite the opposite. We were born into poverty. So, everything that we have accomplished has been by our blood, sweat and tears. We have worked hard. Failed hard. Cried hard. And screamed at the unfairness of life more times than I can count. But, we carried on and never gave up.

Today, we are property managers at a mobile home and RV park. We live in a nice home, have 2 vehicles and our bills are mostly paid. I am a health and wellness affiliate with a company that offers organic, vegan, cruelty-free products that have been amazing in our health and wellness needs. I am also a beauty consultant for Avon as well as a beauty influencer on social media and in local groups. I'm an entrepreneur at heart and I love to help others achieve their personal goals.

I am a person with many facets. I don't like labels, so I really try not to label myself. But, if I were to put a label to myself, I would say I'm a witchy hippie with inner gothic tendencies. I honor nature, love my fellow human beings and enjoy the arts. I'm a vocalist, a painter, a wiz with a crochet hook, face and body artist, jewelry crafter and I make soaps, salves, lip balms and more. I love to grow my own food and brew meads and kombucha with my family and friends.

I love herbs and teas, oils and crystals. I love incense, pagan deity statuary, cats and my beardie. My family is everything to me. My husband is my rock, shield and sword. My boys are amazing and make me super proud to be their momma every day. My life isn't perfect...but I love it and am so grateful for each day I wake up.

A few words on the rating system.

I used to put a lot of thought and critique into ratings...but now, it just seems trivial. If I visit your profile, you'll get a 10 rating from me. Status and rank, while it is interesting to see it climb, isn't all that important to me.

I only have one profile...this one. It's 11 years old and what you see is what you get. I'm down to earth, happily married and am kind to everyone. If you throw sass my way, I'll just block you. I don't play childish games. I'm too old for that shit lol.

Music:

I love most genres of music. Some of my favorite artists are: BTS (my absolute favorite), Fleetwood Mac, Lady Gaga, Michael Jackson, Sam Cooke, Billie Eilish, Radio Company and many many more. Too many to list. I just love music.

Movies, Shows and Streaming:

My favorite all-time show is Supernatural. I've watched the entire series 5 times. The fact that it is about to come to an end makes me sad, but I'm an #SPNFamForLife. The actors in that show are some of the most down to earth, charitable and amazing human beings on the planet. They are my first love.

The movies that helped to mold me and inspire me from my childhood are The Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, The Neverending Story, Gone With The Wind and The Wizard of Oz. I'm a fan of apocalyptic movies as well as horror films. I love a good action movie as well as a romantic comedy. I stream Netflix, Disney+ and Amazon Prime Video. I enjoy art in all its forms, and that includes the film industry.

Foods, Habits and Odds and Ends:

I am mostly plant-based in my diet. I stay away from meat, dairy and eggs as much as possible. I do love pastas, anything potatoes and salads fresh from my garden. I enjoy harvesting fresh herbs from my garden to flavor my food. I do have a sugar addiction...and I am going to conquer this bitch!

I also have a nicotine addiction. I have been smoking for the majority of my life. I've quit off an on (mostly while I was pregnant) but have yet to totally defeat this monster. I am currently not smoking analog cigarettes and instead vaping. I eventually hope to drop all nicotine habits.

I am a Virgo...so I have amazing organizational skills, but I'm lacking the motivation to put those skills into practice, most days. I live in a constant state of "OMG! Look at this place! Ahhhh fuck it. I'll think about it tomorrow." (Gone with the Wind, folks. It's all Scarlett O'hara's fault!) I'm a bit of a perfectionist and have a legit modicum of OCD about certain things. I don't care how messy my home may be, I can tell if something has been moved a 1/2 inch. It's ridiculous lol.

Sometimes, I can be too serious and slow to laugh. That is greatly improved by imbibing in a bit of homemade mead. It's just what I need to loosen up just enough to be a little less rigid. I have a heart of gold and want nothing more than to see peace and prosperity for mankind. I long for a world of true freedom. I also long for a little cottage out in the forest surrounded by trees and critters. Oh, and a HUGE herb cabinet!
