I am a passionate person. I don't do anything half-way and pride myself in loving to the depths of my soul. With that said, I have an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and actively seek to broaden my mind and explore my soul.
I am a writer. I have always been addicted to the written word and have transformed that passion into a lifelong journey. I am a genuinely happy person who takes great pleasure in sharing my happiness with those around me. I love to make people smile and let them know that they matter, not only to me, but to the grand scheme of things. An eternal optomist, I guess you could call me.
I love all kinds of music. I find an escape in the lyrics I listen to. So it is no surprise that you could probably tell what is on my mind by the music I am listening to. Some people say they can listen to music and not really pay attention to the lyrics .. that those lyrics don't really mean much to them except as a catchy tune ... I am not one of those people.
I love reading. It's funny because I couldn't always say that. When I was younger, I had a hard time finding books that could hold my attention past the first few chapters, but over the years I began to learn more about myself and what really intrigues me, which has made all the difference. Now, I can devour a book in a day or two and immerse myself in its story. I love that. I hope that I can one day write a book that will touch others as I have been touched. Some of my favorite authors include: Stephenie Meyer, Cecilia Ahern, Scott Westerfeld, Nicholas Sparks .....
Some other interests: I love photography, drawing (I am no artist, but I love to draw!), reading, writing, music, going up to the mountains - it is amazing the perspective you can get on life when you take a step outside the noise of the city and are able to reflect in nature's beauty.

Biggest pet peeve? I have two ... 1. liars (just tell the truth, it will save everyone a whole lot of grief) and 2. when people say the words "I love you" but can't back it up with affection and actually showing it .... If you love someone show it. There is nothing I admire and love more in a person than passion.
My best friend: Nicole "Bitty" Schiralli. We have been best friends for years and we often feel like we share a brain. She is my family in every way that matters. We don't get to talk as much as we used to due to distance (a couple thousand miles) and life. Best wishes to my bitty as she gets married this year. She deserves only the best. And even though I don't see or talk to her much anymore, she will always have a place in my heart.
Why do Nicole and I refer to each other as bitties? Well, I found this poem a while back about growing old with those that you love and we joked that someday we would be little old ladies, sitting on the front porch swing, drinking lemonade, and talking about life. Ever since that day, we refer to each other as bitties.

Biggest Fascination: Well, I'm on here, lol, so that should tell you what one of my biggest fascinations is in regard to ... vampires. Not too many people in my life 1. understand why I am interested in vampires, and 2. can even believe that I would ... lol.
What do you love most about life? My kids, Noah (3) and Madilynn (2) ... they are my whole world and I connot imagine my life without them. They bring me so much love and laughter ... I just hope that they grow up knowing how special they truly are. they gave me a run for my money when they were born - being both preemies - but looking back, I see that it only made our bond that much stronger.
Morning person or night person? Definitely night - although I have to get up early most days so I can't stay up too late anymore (boo)
Favortite food? I love italian ... Lasagna is probably my favorite, although I don't get it much. Next fav is french toast or chocolate.

As for the company I keep ....
Likes - Honesty, loyalty, silliness, someone who is laid back, intellectual, someone who can see the beauty in everyday things like a sunset/ris, a rainbow after a rainstorm, the sound of the rain, a full moon .... you get the point. Most of all, as I have said before, passion is number one for me. It is not easy to find someone who is truly passionate these days.
Dislikes: dishonesty, rudeness, mean people, abusive people (verbal and otherwise), people who claim they have nothing to say - ever ... you get the idea.
When I was younger, I was pretty shy ... I had some serious trust issues. But now that I am older, I am much more confident and I can honestly say that when I love someone, I love them completely and passionately. That being said, I do not have a huge circle of friends, I have a close group of people whom I love with all my heart and some acquaintences that I enjoy immensely. I don't do well in crowds ... but I can be very outgoing with a smaller group. Does that make any sense? I hope so ... but if not, let me know and I will try to explain it all better .....
