Thee name is Mike. I have walked this Earth for Nineteen years, and regret it every day. I've seen, done, been through alot, somethings I miss, some I wish would go away. They say a mind is a terrible thing to waste, but when you have things in your head that scare you, among other people, then I'm not too sure about that. I'm not stupid, so don't try to play games. If I like you, I'll talk to you, if I don't, then I'll tell you. I am lonely, all the time. I am bored, most of the time. I see things when I close my eyes, and it frightens me. Doctors, Shrinks, Psychologists, they've all tried to "diagnose" me, but the truth is, I'm a Sociopath. If you know what it means, then great. If not, message me, I'll explain it. I have limited friends, not because I'm not liked, because I don't like them. The friends I do have, I will kill, have killed for. It takes alot to piss me off. Just don't try. Thanks. I have been stabbed twice, shot once, tased alot, concussions, broken bones, all of that. So don't try to act hard. I've seen it. I cut. I'm "emo" you could say. If you have a problem with it, too bad. I hate to fight, I hate to argue, I hate confrontation, and hostility. I avoid it. It's all pointless. If you have a problem, talk to me, I'll see if we can't resolve it. If you just wanna fight, argue, or anything, just don't talk to me, and I won't talk to you. I'm pretty sure thats all I have. Bye.
A Modest Proposal
FOR CONTROLLING THE CRIMINAL POPULATION AND HELPING THE ECONOMY
A young boy stands on trial for stealing an apple because he was starving. He stands before the judge in rags, and crying. His mother behind him sits with an angry look on her face. The mother beats him frequently.
The crime problem in our great nation is pathetic. With all of the robbery, murder, and alike we are starting to lose credit with other nations.
So, here is my solution. We start to use Corporal Punishment. For even the slightest offense, we use physical abuse, activity, and even mental abuse to punish these criminals. We begin out small, say one hundred eight-count body builders. I have first hand experience with these, and let me tell you it works. With the right director in charge of the program, I have someone in mind, it would work out perfectly. He is very experience in this area.
Also we charge a fee. For every crime that is committed, the criminal that did it, must pay, let’s say, one hundred dollars per body builder. This will in turn raise our profits, and helping our economy.
But, it does not end there, for every offense a criminal commits, no matter how small, we add on five hundred body builders. These will not be enough though. We shall add running, push ups, sit ups, and flutter kicks. Plus anything else the Director might have in mind.
This will not only help with the crime and economy, but with our country's obesity problem as well. With all of the exercise the vagabond in our nation will receive, they will be in tip-top shape.
Alas! I know that some of you may be thinking this will only result in more crime, but I assure you it will not. We shall recruit these "super criminals," into our military. Yes, let’s give these physically fit criminals weapons, and training in Martial Arts. But, just as well, we will install a chip in their heads so we can control them if need be. I have been confidently told by a very well informed associate of mine that by doing this is perfectly safe. But do we really care if they're safe? However, he has also guaranteed me that we will have complete access to their mind and thoughts, at a very low cost none the less.
With this we will be able to invade any country that threatens us, or defend against any threat on our home soil.
Of course, we could always put cameras on streets, or hire more Police Officers to patrol the streets. Sure we could actually help to reform criminal’s better, but re-entering them into the population under strict observation. But that of course would be too easy.
Deprivation could be another tactic to be used. Instead of feeding these animals decent meals, we only feed them only water and bread. Feeding them only when they deserve it, and have earned it. This would also help to save money for the government and tax payers, due to the fact that we could charge them for every meal.
Another simple idea would be torture. A colleague of mine from Thailand says they still use beatings there, such as but not limited to, caning to help punish criminals.
By doing all of these ideas, we would not only be helping our crime problem, but our economy as well. We would be helping the military, and be the obesity, and the current status of our crime problem.
I, however, can not be of assistance. I am but a mere child of a no more than seventeen. But I assure you my plan will work. Punitive punishment will not work as well as any of the simple ideas I have come up with.
