Maikeru, at twenty-two years of age, has been known to have a little fun every now and then by causing trouble for others. But more than that, he's better known for--and takes much more pride in--being the one his friends go to for help. And he enjoys it. With a hero complex rivaling that of Superman himself, this young man is not one to give up on his friends. He'll help those close to him in any way he can.
An easy-going young man who finds himself easy to get along with, Maikeru is a romantic at heart. Ah, but the life of a hero is many times a lonely one. Such is the case with this young man. For, in this world, it is many times difficult to tell who is friend, and who is foe.
Having suffered through failure after failure of long-distance relationships for about five years now, Mai seeks someone he can find solace in knowing is his One. But, as we all know, a watched pot never boils. And that for which you seek hardest is often times the most elusive.

As stated, in this world it is many times difficult to tell who is friend and who is foe. And Mai's trust has been betrayed on more than one occassion. With many people, this may cause issues with trust. Perhaps they would become distant. Not Maikeru, though. He trudges on, continuing to trust people with perhaps a degree of easiness that goes TOO far.
