i'm a real footy head, sporto type who can't play anymore. i still play all the softer sports, like cricket and basket ball but i prefer the competition and physicality of a full contact sport. ah well, i'm getting too bloody old for that stuff anyway.
after my footy career i tried to join the army and the navy. i could have passed the physical quite easily but with a metal rod holding my leg together, the medical was my problem.
i'm 6/3, about 85kgs, have long brown hair and brown eyes. not anymore. i've got short brown hair now and no goatee either. i had to grow up one day. lol.
i've had over 300 stitches and broken 27 bones in my body, including multiple finger, toe and leg fractures plus one rib, nose eye socket and skull fracture. mostly from footy so my body is a bit beaten up. i'm retired from football now, sometimes i think it might have been better if i never played. lol.

i thought i'd check this site out to meet some new and interesting people and so far i have.
my favourite movies : good fella, braveheart, platoon, underworld, hitman, saving private ryan, lotr, hellboy 1+2, 12 monkeys, galipolli and a couple of chick flicks like bridget jones and love actually. there's way more than that because i love movies, i'll ad them as i remember them.
my favourite games : i play a few games but not often except for bf 2142, i jump on to play this a little bit.
my favourite books : any history or travel books and fantasy. my favourite series is the wheel of time series by robert jordan.
my favourite tv shows : scrubs, simpsons, seinfeld, the office, how i met your mother, dexter, ncis and current affairs shows. plus i love the mini series band of brothers and rome.
i'm not artistic in any way, although i wish i was sometimes. i enjoy looking at art and going to shows (as long as there's a bar. lol) but i can't draw anything that would be easily recognisable(pictionary taught me this). i enjoy reading good poetry and writing but i don't think i could write to save myself.
lord byron i ain't(although i do like the ladies and travel. lol) maybe i'll learn now that footy's out of the picture.
my favourite music : i love punk, bands like guttermouth and bad religion. i also like a bit of fiona apple and mazzy star.
