Hi I'm Toby. I am five feet twoish inches tall, and practically everyone towers over me - or so it seems. My eyes are brown, and my hair is naturally brown. I'd tell you what color it is now, but I change it pretty frequently. I like purple and blue a lot, although I do other colors as well. I have, at last count, 12 piercings and 11 tattoos. I love body modification.
I have two beautiful children and am married. Watching them grow up is the best, scariest, most fulfilling, nerve wracking experience. My family is my world, and I adore them.
I am probably one of the spazzier people you will meet, depending on my mood. I am a semi-talented writer, artist, and instrumentalist. I enjoy philosophy, and I love to theorize about anything and everything that interests me.
Listening to music is one of my favourite pastimes, and I listen to all types, though I am partial to what is classified as "emo" music. Punk and rock music are also often heard emitting from my headphones, as are classic rock, showtunes, pop, and occasionally country. Music is a huge part of my life; it speaks to my soul.
Feel free to add me as a friend, however if you do TELL ME so I can add you as well. Do not make lewd or disrespectful comments; I do not take to them well, and will likely block you. If you have a problem with me, fine; inform me in a respectful manner, or not at all. Do not message me asking if I'll cyber or some crap like that...I will block you.
Feel free to read my Journal; some things get deleted, so you may read something one day, and it will be gone the next. In high school, I used my Journal as a means to transfer information from school to home, as e-mailing was blocked on my school's server; so sometimes, there are gobbledegook entries that may not mean much to you, but at one point meant a whole heck of a lot to me and whatever report or essay I happened to be working on. The 'personal' section of my journal is just a place where I'll rant about things that bother me. It may not be the most interesting to read, but the 'spells' section is song lyrics and the 'poems' section is, obviously, poems.
I cannot stand people who are fake, or who try to be what everyone else wants them to be. People who change to please bother me. Also, closed-minded people typically find me very difficult to get along with, as I am very liberal and open-minded, and I love to explore new perspectives on things. I also tend to be quite opinionated. If you can't accept me as I am, then we shall simply have to agree to disagree. If you can't drop whatever topic it is you and I disagree on, then you can go your way and I'll go mine. I don't mind having friends who do not have the same opinions as me; I rather enjoy it. However I do NOT enjoy people constantly telling me my veiws and opinions are wrong, and that I must listen to them because they are undoubtebly correct. The whole "I'm right you're wrong I'm smart you're dumb" thing just doesn't fly with me.
I collect various things, mostly buttons or pins with sayings on them [[I currently have over a hundred twenty different buttons]], bumper stickers, and knives. I also collect books and crystals.
