I'm from the PNW, but sadly not one of the more artsy and aesthetic areas. Moreso an area known mainly for cattle and tourists. Both essential food groups if you ask me. Sadly though, no local venues for hosting the type of shows I like to attend. So I find myself taking trips to major cities a few times a year. Always buying a VIP ticket, just to lose myself in the pit every time. To me, a concert isn't strictly for voyerism. If you aren't physically emersed in the energy of the crowd, you're paying too much and getting too little.
