So, here are the basics. My name is Veronica Allure. I'm an enviromentalist, and a humanitarian. I love a lot of things, and there isn't much I hate. I'm an artist and writer, I have what normal people would call "an uncanny fascination with the occult". I love strong tea and I drink my coffee plain and black. The people that run our government annoy the hell out of me, and I strongly dislike politics.
I care a great deal about the environment. In a world where industrialization and artificialness are taking over, I’ve discovered that it is important to recognize everything that is still natural. Plants and trees are naturally balancing the human race, and giving us the oxygen we need to keep moving. I enjoy having the ability to wake up and look out my window to see towering trees under a sky of blue. I’d like to keep it that way and preserve what I already have.
Gay rights are something that I strongly believe in. If you love someone, then you should have a right to love them no matter what sex they are. Many people say that homosexuality is wrong because the Bible says so. I find that amusing, because the Bible also preaches about free-reign love. The world we live in has a surplus of war and hate, and an equal shortage of peace and love. I believe in peace, because war affects me everyday of my life. It affects taxes and gas prices, plus the suffering that I hear about so often in the media. My brother, Justin, is serving in our endless war with Iraq as I type this. He is one of the only people I have discovered who shares similar outlooks with me. It rips me apart to know that someone like himself, who looks so strongly to peace, could be killed at any second because of war. That’s why it’s so important to me to be nice to people, because there’s too much violence and hate already out there.
