Truth is the essence of all that exists. And if the truth be told, objectively and with the same reverence and fervor that the lies that have been told us for the last 70 some odd years have been transmitted, then the human race, as fragile in spirit and body and mind as it is, would rise up from the silence of submission and the lethargic soul that clamors in the silence of the heart would be heard as a voice impossible to silence and impervious to the threats of those who use fear and power as a tool of control.

But what will it take for humans that submit out of fear and hide behind the shadows of their own free will, now chained to the cage doors of a life controlled by corporations and the descended elite from among the initiated evils of our human pre-history, what will it take to be free.

What is it you fear the most? Loss of your freedom? You've already lost 50% of that. Losing your job? It doesn't matter what profession you hold; white collar, blue collar...Those who wish only one thing from you; your silent and obedient consent, will see to it that if you are found worthy you may, at their leave, work for them and their brave new world. And how will they go about getting it? The same way they have been for decades. They promise you order and they promise you peace. They promise you the impossible, and because you were afraid and placed your trust in them, they also promise you change...change that will define your humanity and your right to existence.

Cruelty and injustice, intolerance and oppression. These are the gifts being bestowed upon you as we sit here in front of our monitors indulging in cyber relationships and friendships that have gained and lost momentum. But we have interacted one with the other in what ever our beliefs are and it is those interactions that define our freedoms. To be who and what we are. To express ourselves with the understanding that we are not just individuals but that we are also a larger part of the human chain.

I remember how the meaning of words began to change. How unfamiliar words like political correctness, mis-speak and transparency began to become part of the colloquial linguistics of the English language. It all meant that same thing...but was only in favor of the elite.

Every inch of us shall perish. Every inch, but one. An inch. It is small and it is fragile and it is the only thing in the world worth having. We must never lose it or give it away. We must NEVER let them take it from us. But with every day that passes, even that inch begins to lose a bit of its measure. With every day that passes our constitutional rights begin to erode. Those who would have us vote for them mention nothing about the loss of freedom. They only bicker between each other haggling about things that are only important to them.

You sit here as I do and you take comfort in that which is left. But eventually that comfort, these words, your feelings, our individuality and right to expression will become nothing more than a memory...perhaps only a dream to those who come after us.
