Guts Man is the fourth in the series of original Robot Masters developed by Dr. Light to aid mankind, using his massive strength to assist in his job as a civil engineer. Capable of lifting and throwing rocks as heavy as two tons, Guts Man was the ideal wilderness reclamation robot, until the treacherous Dr. Wily chose to reprogram Guts Man to use his strength to help the madman carry out his schemes. Despite being defeated on numerous occassions, Wily continues to revive Guts Man time and again, often with various enhancements to better defeat Mega Man.
