Birth of a Vampire

The vampire looks at his victim
A young girl of seventeen
He's bled her half to death and
Now she begins to plead

"Take me with you, I'll be your companion
Forever young I'll be
By your side I'll stand with you
For all eternity"

The vampire thought and thought some more
About the young lady's proposal
He felt that it sounded good to him and
He decided to make her immortal

He fed her from him, she drank him down
His blood coursed through her veins
She rose to her feet, reborn
A vampire in need of a name

"What was your human name child"?
"Tell it to me now"
"My name was Audrey and I was a poet
What name would you give me now"?

"Audrey? I like that name
It's a suitable name for a vampire
Audrey of the wicked pen
is what I think we'll call you"

"Come now child, you've much to learn
We should begin your lessons
The first of which you need to learn
Is you'll never go to Heaven"

"Forever shall you walk this earth
In good times and times of sorrow
But every sunrise when you go to rest
Remember that darkness will follow"

"It is then you will awaken
A child of the night
You'll go forth, seeking blood
To sustain your undead life"

"As the years pass, you will not age
You'll be as beautiful in a hundred years
Leaving a trail of death behind you
Filled with a million tears"

"Go forth now child, feed you must
You have to build your strength
A powerful vampire you will be
As you learn vampiric ways"

So into the night Audrey goes
He who sired her waits and listens
He then hears a girls bloodcurdling scream
And smiles as he knows Audrey's feeding

He's at her side quickly, watching her drink
Her victim begging for life
He covers her mouth to muffle her screams
As Audrey drains her life

When she's dead, he looks at Audrey and
Asks if she's alright
"Sometimes the first victim we take can also take a toll
Just remember my dear Audrey, you no longer have s soul"

"Your heart may beat, you may breathe air
But you are not alive
Show mo mercy for your victims and
You'll do just fine"

The two return to the vampire's lair
Where they will rest till the next night
Together they'll feed on hapless victims
Forever, they'll hunt the night.
