Light as bright as day,
In which the angels do play.
Bringing a feeling of ease,
Joyful and happiness that please.
Sunshine brought forth the flowers,
Wonderful scent tantalizing the powers.
The rays beaming down,
Until the shadows can be found.
The Vampyres rest in the daylight hours,
only to awaken at twilight's birth.
Lingering in the darkness they do wait.
Waiting for the right time to fulfill their fate.
The light dims and slowly fades away,
Until total pitch black darkness replaces the day.
Chaos is born as the blackout takes over the land.
Things that go bump in the night take and make plans.
Creatures of darkness do come into being.
Kindred of souls as Vampyres, Demons and other fiends.
Blood is now spilt at the sound of a scream.
Waking many a mortal from frightful dreams.
Dreams that now become reality in their purest form.
Bring forth the nightmares and terrors to be born.
Nocturnal natures come alive.
Bringing forth the dark magicks hidden deep inside.
Powers unleashed into the dark abyss.
Giving them strength and the Vampyres do hiss.
The Witches chant into the night.
Leading to the mundanes to be scared and take flight.
No where to run, no where to hide.
They'll only wish to be able to stay alive.
Blackout occurring deep in one's soul.
Bringing the dark energies to be born and flow.
Capturing the innocent purest of hearts.
Leading to the end of where they all part.
Will the light ever return, the people do ask.
Ha ha, laughs the darkness, that shall never pass.
Darkness consumes all even the purest of light.
So basically there's no point in putting up a flight.
Black as dark as night.
Night as black as coal.
Darkness will forever reign.
Inside this untimely fold.
Blackouts will always occur when light is unprotected.
So be very weary of your surroundings,
You may never know what may be of the foundings.
Heed this as a warning to all those who dare.
To defy the darkness of nature within if you care.
The true nature of a Nightkind, one who embraces total darkness with pride.
Is to understand the beauty of night and lunar light with nothing to hide.
So every time you see a shadow, just remember this.
It is blackout of darkness wanting to say hi with a slight kiss.
