There has been much speculation as of late in light of current world events that RA and other ancient Gods might in fact be Aliens. And that they might be returning very soon,if they arent already here..I am just curious as to what everyone might think about this .And do you feel that ancient stories of God returning might actually be about these aliens?
ANY thoughts would be would be welcome, regardless of what they might be.
Thank you everyone.

RA is what hu.man today would consider an ‘alien’ … he is a Kardasian F2 hybrid and a Nephilim..

He and others have been here many times during the cleansing of the Heavens that has been taking place in hopes of reaching some of the beings and helping them discover the spiritual connection that we all have at our very core…after all we are all biological housings animated by a being of light or dark matter….

The terms light and dark do not reference good and back…they are simply different species of energies

Thank you.Everyone.:D I love this subject and I am thinking many others here do as well.I like that participants are willing to provide ANY information and give us lots of things to research and consider, whether we understand, believe or whatever.I know that there has to be some basis for all the stories of Gods and such and since this IS a database,we can all contribute in one way or another.
The rest is up to us as individuals to determine what would be useful to us or not.

Again,thank you!!!

As far as false Gods,I would like to know more about that and how that all came about. If these ancients are all aliens wouldnt that mean that none of them were Gods in the first place?
It is a lot to consider..

I will admit that I've been "feeling" like something big is about to happen. I'm not a believer in the 2012 theory, but I'm not stupid enough not to realize when something is coming. Whether it be Christ returning, a firey apocolypse, or whatnot, I feel it coming in the future. :D

Aliens?! I would love to know the name of the whack a do that dreamed up that theory!! The egyptian gods are formed as they are do to the understanding, and concept of life in egypt. To give a example Anubis the jackal headed god and the patron god of healers and those who work with the dead was formed by early Egyptians understanding that wherever the dead are the jackal was not far of, for they were feeding on the flesh of the dead. In short the egyptian "underworld" is a enhanced reflection of day to day egyptian life not a day in the life of E.T

Yep.:) We're talking aliens.
I know there are a lot of peeps wondering along those lines these days. And many are comparing biblical writings to events that many feel might point to ancient aliens.Such as the Annunaki.Plus, many are thinking that artifacts from South America, and other places around the globe could also be evidence of their visits.
With that in mind,I wanted to hear thoughts on it from our VR.members.

And hey..the idea that there are aliens,is no more outlandish than the idea of vampires.;)
Cant be callin the kettle black now can we.

There are alot of folks that have put forth some interesting theories.
I just think that if you are going to debate a subject like this than there should be a little more substance to it than " oh yeah, it was the lizard people of planet K."

Im talking Gods. Not everyday peoples of the times.I am really only using them as a means to start the topic. Also, some speculate that because their nature...animal heads,or animal body parts, they might have been hybrids of some kind. Also I am thinking about correlations,as I said in writings and events.Such as the Ark.What in it could cause the deaths as it supposedly did? Radiation?

Someone pointed something out to me the other day about some reffs to one example, Passover. Why back then would they even have used that term? Maybe they were actually referring to a passover by some alien craft?
And theres more, but hopefully we can get to that in depth later in the thread.

Well if you want to take a Scientific look at Egyptian Creationism that is fine, I went to collage for that and have done some work on the subject so I can debate it all day... but the question of whether man was visited by little green men or whether man is simply far older than what modern Science says is possible will still be open for debate.
But here is what I do now about the connections.

The Egyptians started out at the high point of their society... they began with a already in place golden age and slowly fell into decline. We are to believe that they started as cavemen one foot out of the stone age and suddenly had pyramids that we would have difficulty constructing today.

So the question is if you were an advanced race that wanted to pass down knowledge to a culture that could not understand it yet how would you do it??
Much like sending Steven Hawkins to teach first graders theoretical physics you would would have to tell it in a story that they could understand at their level... dumb it down.

NASA says that if you wanted to leave information that an alien would understand you would have to do so in scientific symbolism. The ancients did use symbolism as there language so lets look at there stories and see what we find.

Atum:
His name is thought to be derived from the word 'tem' which means to complete or finish. Thus he has been interpreted as being the 'complete one' and also the finisher of the world, which he returns to watery chaos at the end of the creative cycle. As creator he was seen as the underlying substance of the world, the deities and all things being made of his being, his Ka.

In the Heliopolitan creation myth he was considered to be the first god, having created himself, sitting on a mound from the primordial waters (Nu). Early myths state that Atum created the god Shu, the god of air, and Tefnut, the goddess of moisture. Atum tells these two gods to create life and they go on to create the Ogdoad... the Ogdoad were a grouping of eight deities.

The eight deities were arranged in four female-male pairs, the females were associated with snakes and the males were associated with frogs: Naunet and Nu, Amaunet and Amun, Kauket and Kuk, Hauhet and Huh. Apart from their gender, there was little to distinguish the female goddess from the male god in a pair.

Now the significance of this is that our own beliefs from a scientific point of view is that life came from a primordial ooze. made of mostly water. In particle physics the numbers two and eight are the electron structure of water. hydrogen provides the first two electron as twins pairs of atoms, and oxygen supplies the additional eight electrons.
1 hydrogen and 4 oxygen and 4 oxygen - or H20.

Is this Science dumbed down into story form??

The Start of Life
In the myth, however, their interaction ultimately proved to be unbalanced, resulting in the arising of a new entity. When the entity opened, it revealed Ra, the fiery sun, inside. After a long interval of rest, Ra, together with the other deities, created all other things including Nieth the mother god. She was said to weave life on her shuttle board. Later she became the moon god and opposite of Ra.

Now the significance of this is that Nieth's hieroglyph is the exact symbol that modern science uses to show genetic structure.

Example:

First Neith in long Hieroglyph

Next the Symbolic Glyph Form of Neith

Now The Scientific Representation of Genetic Structure

As stated above, Later in the creation myth Nieth becomes the moon god.
Now the common Egyptian and Pagan symbol for the Moon:

As you can see all closely similar in their components.

The New Kingdom
As the Egyptian mythology continues the Egyptian conception of the universe centered on maat, a word that encompasses several concepts in English, including "truth," "love," and "balance." It was the fixed, eternal order of the universe, both in the cosmos and in human society. It had existed since the creation of the world, and without this the world would lose its cohesion. In Egyptian belief, maat was constantly under threat from the forces of disorder, so all of society was required to maintain it. On the human level this meant that all members of society should cooperate and coexist, on the cosmic level it meant that all of the forces of nature—the gods—should continue to function in balance. This latter goal was central to Egyptian religion. The Egyptians sought to maintain maat in the cosmos by sustaining the gods through offerings and by performing rituals which staved off disorder and perpetuated the cycles of nature.
In Egyptian belief, this cosmos was inhabited by three types of sentient beings. One was the gods, another was the spirit deities, who possessed many of the gods' abilities. Living humans were the third category, and the most important among them was the pharaoh, who bridged the human and divine realms.

Isis is the mother god that took the place of Neith after her transformation into the moon god. Modern scholars say that Isis is represented by a thrown as her Hieroglyph.

Example:

Is this a depiction of her throne??

Or is it a representation of the three levels of life as they knew it to be...
Gods, deities, and humans.

Arcane knowledge is often about what you know to start with and it often takes an individual years of studying to get to that level of understanding - point blank You need to be trained.
The more you understand something the more meaning it has to you. The topic of what hieroglyphics meant and why the ancients used them as a language is key to seeing the world threw their eye and not our.

Most of what you see in a glyph is up to what you know of the object. Ancient wisdom is encoded into hieroglyphs so the more you know about the symbol the more information and meaning it carries for you as you read it... Basically the information is hidden until you can understand it.

An example of this would ironically be to say that suppose you where an alien and you'd never seen a cross before.
I can describe to the crucifixion and the story of Jesus Christ... a priest could go on all day about the symbolism of it and what it means to Christians.
To you it is just a cross, with out that information it means almost nothing but on the flip side for some one who does know what the symbol means it becomes empowering and holds great meaning. An entire book of knowledge manifests itself within that one object.
The symbol it's self becomes the embodiment of all those meanings and is capable of conveying the principles of them to the person viewing it.
The Bible wrapped up in symbol form, but only if you know the bible story to start with.

That is the power of symbolism is an extremely complex language and that is what you find everywhere in Egypt and through out the ancient world... But only if you know this, if you don't it's just a bunch of wavy lines and some animals.

So again was this knowledge left by Man or Aliens...
who knows but what I can say is who ever wrote our past seems to be missing quite a few pages to say the least.

My beliefs are that the God{desse}s of ancient times are not space travelers

Today the Christians have Jesus and God from the bible while back then each culture had their own God{desse}s that walked among humankind like Jesus did and instead of just one God there was many of them to reflect fertility war mothers harvest hunting etc as these were important and a fact of life for those that lived back then

But then there are those that believe the Egyptian Babylonian God{desse}s were really Anunnaki who still today walk among us not the first but their descendants that have their DNA and the DNA from the humans they decided will be the mother of their offspring

So if you look at it you have those that believe the Ancient God{desse}s are real for those back then as Jesus and God is to us today or they are Anunnaki from Planet X who landed here and some of them stayed while the rest left and they have their descendants wandering around among us

Here's a doosy for ya and I heard this theory.....

We are just rejected aliens that were placed here on earth and we are being studied to see how far we have advanced.

yeah I know sounds funny, but I have heard that theory.

personally, In regards to the bloodlines, who is to say that Jesus himself is an alien. think about it. Mary was pregnant with jesus, but she did not have sexual intercorse with joseph. So, how was Jesus concieved? The only way that could of happend is by today's standards of artifical insemination. So it says an angel appreared before Mary and told her she was pregnant. So was this so called angel messenger an alien that somehow implanted the seed into Mary?

Another theroy, what were the templars really guarding? A ancient bloodline?

Well if that's the case than one could also make the argument that mankind is in fact heaven's fallen angels.
Sent to Hell (Earth) and condemned to stay here until a final individual judgement day. If we are worthy of gods love and repent our past sins than we are excepted back into heaven if not we are doomed to a endless repeat cycle.
There are those who will also say that God is simply a normal physiological condition. The brain's function is to run, maintain, and protect the body from harm and even death. Death being a fact of existence means that the brain must create a higher power scenario in order to deal with this inevitable conflict.

Nice input ...:D

I am aware of Egyptian legends that tell of Tep Zepi which means The first time or first timers. They tell of a time when sky gods came down to Earth and raised the land from water and mud. These "Gods" supposedly flew through the air in flying boats ,bringing laws and wisdom to man through a royal line of pharaohs.

And while there are plenty of weird stories, there is one of RA and his wife, the Sky Goddess NUT. According to that story,In the evening he sails "through her mouth .Once inside,he then has to fight his way through her nightmareish insides .(The Milky Way?). RA then fights his way through twelve gates, all the while avoiding malevolent monsters. One of these monsters being the Snake God APEP who lies in wait hoping to snatch him up.After he makes it though the gauntlet, he then surfaces via NUT's birth canal to greet the new day.It doesnt end there. Other Gods .. THOTH, MAAT, HATHOR, HORUS , ABTU, ANET and KHEPRI are all said to patrol and fly in sky boats. The night boat is called Mantchet, and a day boat called Semketet. They fly around in these boats making their rounds. When NUT gave birth to OSIRIS there was supposedly a loud voice that was heard all over the world which said "The lord of all the earth is born."

RA is the only god that I know of ,with the exception of OSIRIS, who is really said to be not on the earth. Legend goes onto say that RA is an aging god, who is still powerful, but too old to deal with his children(humans?) any longer, so he stays in the sky to watch over the world and HORUS now rules over the earth and the gods in his stead.
Egyptians were indeed a remarkable civilization with a rich history. Even If they were helped by so-called ancient astronauts, it would not take away any of their greatness.

Actually Ra is a New kingdom theology. and was not present in the begining of the culture.
Atum is one of the most important and frequently mentioned deities from earliest times in Egyptian mythology, as evidenced by his prominence in the Pyramid Texts, where he is portrayed as both a creator and father to the kings.
He is usually depicted as a man wearing either the royal head-cloth or the dual white and red crown of Upper Egypt, and Lower Egypt, reinforcing his connection with kingship. The council of Atum with the nine members: Osiris, Nut, Geb, Shu, Atum, Tefnut, Nephthys, Isis and Aset. This group formed the solar cult of Heliopolis, Thebes, and Abydos.

During the Old Kingdom the Egyptians believed that Atum lifted the dead Pharaoh's soul from the tomb to the starry heavens.By the time of the New Kingdom, the Atum myth had merged in the Egyptian pantheon with that of Ra.
Ra is most commonly pronounced 'rah'. in the beginning the two were mixed to form one god Amun -RA. A deity in Egyptian mythology who in the form of Amun-Ra became the focus of the most complex system of theology in Ancient Egypt.
Amun represented the essential and hidden, whilst in Ra he represented revealed divinity. Amun was self created, without mother and father, and during the New Kingdom he became the greatest expression of transcendental deity in Egyptian theology. He was not considered to be immanent within creation nor was creation seen as as an extension of himself. Amun-Ra, As his cult arose in the Egyptian pantheon, Ra often replaced Atum as the true father of the deities of the Ennead, and as result became the creator of the world.
It appears almost certain, rather, that the Great Ennead;which are the nine deities of Atum, Geb, Isis, Nut, Osiris, Nephthys, Seth, Shu, and Tefnut; first appeared prior to the rise of Ra's cult in the sixth dynasty, and that after introduction of the new pesedjet the cult of Ra soon saw a great surgence until the worship of Horus gained prominence. Afterward worship focused on the syncretistic solar deity Ra-harakhty (Ra, who is Horus of the Two Horizons). During the Amarna Period of the eighteenth dynasty, Akhenaten introduced worship of another solar deity Aten. The deified solar disc represented his preferred regional deity as he attempted to lessen the influence of the temple of Atum.

Another belief held to Atum is that During the Old Kingdom the Egyptians believed that the mother goddess and Atum were the parents of Shu and Tefnut, the first deities. referred to as Iusa'aset (also spelt Iusas, and in Greek as Isis), meaning the great one who comes forth. In this role she often was described as his wife. Consequently As the wife of Atum, Iusa'aset was seen as the mother of the gods. Her strength, hardiness, medical properties, led the acacia tree to be considered the tree of life, and thus the oldest, which was situated close to, and north of, Heliopolis, was said to be the birthplace of the deities. Thus, as the mother of the deities, Iusa'aset was said to own this tree.

Although her origins are unclear, Iusa'aset seems to be attested quite early in the Egyptian pantheon, being associated with creation and the creation of the deities. She remains as a primary deity in the pantheon throughout all eras of the culture, even through the Persian, Hyksos, Greek, and Roman occupations, and regardless of changes in the specific myths.
At these later times Iusa'aset sometimes is described as the eye of Ra, after the myth of Ra overtook that of Atum. This implies that her cult was very strong, since she survived as a deity associated with the new deity replacing the one with whom she had been paired during the New Kingdom pantheon. An association with the Greek, and Roman occupations Isis can be found later as the Greek pronunciation of her name still being known today as Isis mother of the gods, my have lead to Roman version of Mary mother of god. both Isis and Mary are depicted as holding a single infant god.

Not certain if they are Alien to our planet or just entities that can enter a host and move on. After all the planet is rather old, even in Universal terms.
It makes sense for superior species to be able to move from host to host although I think the process is not without risk.
There are those that communicate with "her" and have no choice about it, albeit they live relatively normal lives -hosts are aware they have a freind who can assist them in times of peril.
Incidentally " she " is worried about what is occurring on this planet, or so the rumours go. If Ra and she are forced to show out ( due to mans incompetence), it will go badly for those at the top and probably many of the complacent masses. Or maybe they are just spirits? Either way, whether Alien or Spirits, is largely academic.

TFS- you have a point, but why would an entitity thet powerful use one host? Unlikely, mor elikely it has several hosts to stop it burning out the monkey brain. Even then, many might not be able to deal with a higher thinker.
Logically why would a being restrict itself to organic matter?
If such entities can manipulate dark energy/matter it is also likely they may pr4eserve some function in inanimate objects...not sure, just a thought.
Kinda like Harry Potter and JK Rowlings idea of horcruxes, what better way to ensure your legacy. Furthermore, that ties in with Legends and rumours about how crystals and rings can have a life of their own.
Like I say, just a thought but as Cancer speculates, thoughts are things.

I'd rather believe in aliens than gods

There far more chance of there being life on a similar planet than there is some thorny crowned palstinian, or whatever his is, roaming the planet saving our souls.

what I do find amusing is how the worlds experts refuse to believe that alien life could ever reach us, how could they possible be that intelligent to create technology to do that.

If they have, and they did/do come to earth then I can understand perfectly why humans from past centuries would consider them as gods

Im with you on that LB.even with early explorers, natives who had never seen anything like them ,considered them Gods.

DM,The Anunnaki..
In short,
The Anunnaki were giant s of ancient days (Sumerian)who were believed to have come to Earth from another planet. They glowed a golden color, and their symbol was the winged disk. This disk supposedly represents their starships, but also symbolic of the ability of the spirit to fly free. These Anunnaki were later called the Elohim, and Nephilim ,meaning those who descended, came down. They were believed to be extraterrestrials.

"An" is short for "anachnu," which means "we." "An" also means "heaven." "Naki" means "clean." " "Ki" means "Earth," "We are here on Earth." "Heaven is on Earth." "Anu is here on Earth."

Here is a link to a pretty informative site on the Anunnaki...http://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/sumer_anunnaki/anunnaki/1-anunnaki-main.html

Since the Doctor Who episode "Pyramids of Mars", I've always been fascinated by Set/Seth/Sutekh. What a piece of work he was, huh? I even had a small statue I bought of him from the Buffalo Science Museum. It was a beauty, but it's since broke due to the less than careful hands of Southwest Airlines.

Humans have always wanted to be Gods,or Demigods.

http://www.emayzine.com/lectures/egyptian.htm

From this myth of creation came the conception of the ennead, a group of nine divinities, and the triad, consisting of a divine father, mother, and son. Every local temple in Egypt possessed its own ennead and triad. The greatest ennead, however, was that of Ra and his children and grandchildren. This group was worshiped at Heliopolis, the center of sun worship. The origin of the local deities is obscure; some of them were taken over from foreign religions, and some were originally the animal gods of prehistoric Africa. Gradually, they were all fused into a complicated religious structure, although comparatively few local divinities became important throughout Egypt. In addition to those already named, the important divinities included the gods Amon, Thoth, Ptah, Khnemu, and Hapi, and the goddesses Hathor, Mut, Neit, and Sekhet. Their importance increased with the political ascendancy of the localities where they were worshiped. For example, the ennead of Memphis was headed by a triad composed of the father Ptah, the mother Sekhet, and the son Imhotep. Therefore, during the Memphite dynasties, Ptah became one of the greatest gods in Egypt. Similarly, when the Theban dynasties ruled Egypt, the ennead of Thebes was given the most importance, headed by the father Amon, the mother Mut, and the son Khonsu. As the religion became more involved, true deities were sometimes confused with human beings who had been glorified after death. Thus, Imhotep, who was originally the chief minister of the 3rd Dynasty ruler Zoser, was later regarded as a demigod. During the 5th Dynasty the pharaohs began to claim divine ancestry and from that time on were worshiped as sons of Ra. Minor gods, some merely demons, were also given places in local divine hierarchies.

ApertureStar had started another thread ,and while it is essentially the same and does tie into this one as far as subject,he brings up some good points beyond that.I would hate for that aspect to go by the wayside,so I thought I would bring his OP into here in order to deversify the thread.I hope this is ok,as I really havent seen this done in the forum before.

"There are many speculations and theories to what the ancient gods actually were... if they were. Some believe they were aliens, some believe they were nephilim, and some believe they were humans before we lost our powers due to constant inbreeding which is spoken much of in mythology. For example, Zeus and Hera were siblings and they had many children together. Each generation was weaker than the next. Since incest is now considered wrong in civilized society, perhaps humans may one day regain such power and become gods once again. After all, mental and superhuman powers are far more common now than ever before. If and when that happens, will anyone even remember names such as Zeus, Ra, Odin, and Brahma? What are your thoughts?"
