Simply proposing ideas here, not making claims that I believe one way or the other.

The question I want to pose is this: if we are affected by the zodiac sign we are born under, is our "afterlife" effected by the zodiac sign we die under?

That would mean to insinuate, if you believe in reincarnation. You would constantly be born under that sign. Also, what about the Chinese Zodiac, are we including that too?

I think it's possible you read my post wrong. I was wondering if the sign you die under effects your afterlife not your next life.

And we can include any astrological zodiac here yes. It would be helpful if a poster made clear which they are referring to.

But reincarnation is someone's version of the "afterlife". So no, I didn't read your post wrong. :) Some people believe you are reincarnated after you die.

I presume you mean Sun sign.
Sun sign in our natal chart signifies vibrations of our Soul,
so Sun has an intense connection to out life
and as Soul does not perish after death,
Sun sign will show character of the afterlife in some sense.

Maybe the reincarnated being will not be born under the same Sun sign, but will have some of its characteristics.

Most importaily though, death itself can be influenced by the sign.

(death is THE most important moment in our life when it comes to the next incarnation)

I don't think that Astrology can manipulate the afterlife. (if it exist). My reason is because Humans, with flesh and Blood, create the Astrological phenomenon. Death, is a beginning or is an end, that is the question. The evidence for survival after death has become overwhelming in the last century and only a totally myopic scientist would fail to grasp the significance of the results. Astrology, is influenced by horoscope, which, for some, is real as water, but, for other, is just pure entertainment.

You are absolutely right..Astrology can not manipulate afterlife.
Astrology cannot manipulate anything,
maybe a bad astrologist can manipulate naive clients,
but that is about where it ends.

But, see, the thing is, that the science or art,
however you want to see it is able to understand time moments because it knows what signs they give.

It is like , say, before Tsunami there are some signs.
Now they do not in any way make the Tsunami happen,
but we, when we see them, can with certainty realize there is going to be a big wave coming from the sea soon,
way before we can see it.

I think it depends on what you define as "afterlife". Some have near-death experiences and do not return the same way they were before that experience. Perhaps that could be a defining moment in their lives... astrologically speaking.
I guess it's the same way how one cannot explain the many different races and groups of people in this world... beings are always grouped one way or the other. Why should this rule differ in the "afterlife"? I for one do not believe in reincarnation... so I do not believe that there is an astrological cycle that continues once we die.. meaning when our bodies completely stop its operation.

I would suspect that the natal chart would not affect one's death if we accept there is life after death. (speaking of Western Astrology) A natal chart deals with birth so I would presume you would have to progress the person's chart to see where everything is at the time of death and that might influence the afterlife. I don't think the sun sign at birth would because it deals with your general physical life capabilities.
