I have no doubt this will ruffle some feathers and well....in the famous words of Rhett Butler...Frankly my Dear, I dont give a damn!

I can understand taking honor from someone that you dislike or that you feel have wronged you or someone you care for. I personally wouldnt do it, and trust me, there are some, that I won't name, that deserve it.

However, here is my issue. Why do people feel the need to degrade others with obscene language, inappropriate comments, (such as go ______ a dog) and name calling?

Furthermore, if you do feel the need to degrade another human being, why hide who you are? Be an adult and leave your name.

I'm sure that many people will give me flack for this post. Again, that is your right just as it is my right to ask.

However, I will leave you with this parting thought... at some point, are we any better than the teenagers that cyberbully on facebook or any other social networking site? What will happen when someone decides they are tired of being bullied?

I haven't given any negative honor. I think giving negative anonomous honor is mean. If you don't like someone, then don't talk to them. There's enough people on this sight to talk to!

Never done this myself but, to me, it begs the question:

Who fricken cares? It's numbers on a website for Christsakes!

And if the person REALLY doesn't matter to you, why do you care what their opinion of you is?

Also, if your "friends" are REALLY your friends, does it matter if they see what someone that doesn't matter to you in the first place says about you?

People are who they are, no matter the place.

I also don't quite understand this. I have a -30 honor on my page. Unless it's because I'm new and don't have much on my page yet, I haven't done anything to anyone so I don't understand why I'm so negative. Did anyone else have this problem when they first signed up on the site? I had an account on here in the past and this must be something new because I've never seen the honor before until I created this account. But seriously, someone take a look at my page. Why am I so negative?

The honor system was set up that way on purpose. You can either leave your name or not leave your name.

The comments given are not part of the system; that is also a choice of the giver/taker.
