For the record: I wasn't making fun of anyone. Go back and reread my post, dear. I was stating that this thread has been done before. At LEAST twice. I understand that as we get new members a lot of them will have the same questions over time. The fact that I get frustrated when these questions come up, is my problem. That I publicly voice this frustration is a running gag that I have. If you sit back and read the things that I post, you'll find that I NEVER make fun of people. I certainly don't publicly insult them, my dear.
I'm disappointed in the fact that people have resorted to name-callling.
As far as reoccurring threads, goes, I've mentioned more than once that there is a need for sticky threads. I believe that such a thing would certianly alleviate the boomerang thread topics. It would also further the cause of the site being a database for all things vampire. I believe that the opinions and experiences of real people are viable sources of information.
So...not that I've completely derailed the thread...
I've never drank blood...other than myown after having my lip busted open. More than once. I don't like the taste. Would I donate? I dunno. The Red Cross won't take my blood, and hasn't for years. If the Red Cross won't take it, who would really want to drink it? Ew!
I'll reiterate what a lot of people have said in this and other threads: tread lightly and safely where this is concerned. If my "status" as an "elder" member of this site means anything other than a big number of pages visited, let it go toward cautioning anyone who might want to try bloodletting in any form. In short, I don't advise, condone, support, or reccomment it.
