There are a lot of people at my school who complain that their life isn’t perfect. It seriously ticks me off. Life isn’t perfect, life isn’t fair… So what? Who cares? Life never has been and never will be perfect. Fet over it. My teacher once said that you can’t please everyone all the time. I have to agree. You can’t make everyone happy at the same time. Don’t even bother to try. It isn’t going to happen. It isn’t likely, actually damn near impossible, to please all the preps, jocks, punks, goths, nerds, and all other social groups at the same time.
My school has this new dress code. Girls skirts must be a certain length, they can’t wear spaghetti strap shirts, and they can’t wear midriffs. Damn, I have never heard so many preps complain. I had to laugh though. Last year, some nerd/prep wannabe (as my friends and I called him… yes HIM) complained that people who wore chains made too much noise and that disrupted classes. Well guess what? We can’t wear chains of any type now. I could so kill his. Oh well. Life isn’t perfect. I swear that people in public schools in America aren’t greatful. They forget how good life is here. Not that I don’t hate the whole country somedays, but my life isn’t all that bad. I’ve got money in the bank, some cash in my posket, more than just the clothes on my back, and some luxurious items. Not everything lands in your lap kide. Try living on the streets w ith no thing but the clothes on your back. Maybe you will start to appreciate life even though it isn’t perfect.
