Hello this is my first post to i apologize if it does not go over well.

I'm curious if any of you have ever meet someone under strange circumstances and eventually became either close friends or even perhaps lovers? Do you beleive you meet for a reason, perhaps it was fated you meet them, or just a coincidence?

Yup i do.. in fact, i feel that my meeting you, just weeks ago, was not a random encounter, ShadowWalker.

I think things happen for all different reason fate, coincidence etc... The hard part is determining which one it is and why.

Yes, I do think that things that happen under weird circumstances often turn out to be great things, or sometimes it seems like an occurence has been inadvertantly 'built-up to' over time;

For example Gorey and I met through our friend Stuart. He has known me for five years and Gareth since he was a kid, and I find it strange that we hadn't met earlier, but we met at just the right time (Im being soppy now, someone shoot me!)

I think oppertunities are never to be missed, because maybe if fate does exist, then these things do truly happen for a reason. good luck with the craziness that is life x

I believe I met my boyfriend for a reason.. I still don't know if it's fate or whatever.. but I really think it happened for a reason

yeah i have met someone for a reason before, i have mentioned her probably a dozen times on this site, we were really close friends, and well do to certain circumstances we don't talk much anymore.
sad thing is everything started because of instruction from God, then well everything has gone just dandy on His plan.
i didn't get all to much good persay from all of this but she did so i am pretty happy overall.
anyone know what i am talking about or am i just babbleling?

i do think there is a reason, but cancer is right. cliche is so common its not even worth repeating. The point of your life is to be in control, there is a destiny factor but you cannot rely on it to save you in a tight spot... you only have you and those you trust in the end. so dont wait for something to happen go out and make it happen kay.

everythin does happen for a reason.... but if that is the case then why? sometimes its jus a waist of time. meeting someone and being a close friend and then them leaving you what a waste of time and energy that you gave tha person, but whatever i have fallin in love and idk if it happend for a reason i jus know it happened things that happen for reasons aare things that should remain the same and not change........

I met one of my best friends in a very odd way. We have sared past lives before, and now we share this one... though hopefully it wont end up like some of our others... We have a tendancy to kill each other... heh it's rather amusing. But you meet people for reasons... nothing is chance....

yea i believe it, thats hows i have such an amazing bf now, i think it was pretty strange how we met because i was invited to a party by a friend of mine for a friend of my bf, it was a graduation party. i was there to meet his friend. i never seen them before in my life but they looked like they knew how to party and my friend was friend with them. well as it turn out i ended up liking my bf and not the graduation guy. we hit it off and we loved each other ever sense. to this they i think my friend for invited me to the party.
