right someone explain how i can drop from level 12 with 40% done to level 11 with 90% done when i come on here everyday, i rate things and i post things on the forum's.

can someone expain this, i knew ur status cud drop but never thought it wud drop that much.

I dont have a clue. -.- the update your status thing is totally fucked up ive just Gained lvl and been here for 5 hours and when i update it still says You have completed 0% of this Lvl. :S

30% based on Pages Viewed
50% based on Time Spent
10% based on things rated (profiles and vampire database)
10% based on forum posts

I cant really explane anything for you ... I've been sitting at 30% wraith for days on end now and I post to forums daily and I rate profiles daily too ... and been on like 10 hours since I hit wraith level *shrugs* so I cant really explane it for ya ... can only give ya the guide lines of how status is given.

Loss of a Level

Because 10% of your status is based upon the things you rate, it is possible for your status to decrease over time. It is also possible, if you are on the cusp of a level (you have recently advanced) to flip between 2 levels several times. Let's say your status as Shadow is the result of you rating 10% of the things ratable at Vampire Rave. If you're absent for a time, new members will join, and new entries will be added to the Vampire Database. This will cause the percentage of things you have rated to drop. When your status is recomputed, it might drop.

This is why I regret adding the percent meter.

nightstalkervamp, technically speaking, you lost less than one level, which is well within the parameters I have defined time and time again.

12.4 - 11.9 = .5

You lost HALF a level. If you had been of lower status, it would have been more. If you had been of higher status, it would have been less. Ask members who are level 20+, and they'll tell you they rarely loose position... And if they do, it's 10 or 20 percent.
