i bet everyone has herd of the woman on the news that terry shiavo and how they killed her by starving her to death. this brings up an interesting topic on is taking lives as easy as everyone thinks or as hard as everyone thinks for that matter. i mean the human form is very frail and can be killed with a pencil if placed correctly. but is a human life really so important? i mean when you think about it people die every day when we could save them. i could sell my color tv and help a child in africa see another day but i dont. does this make me a bad person? i dont think it does but the fact is we put a label on human life, that its so improtanat. that you better not kill anyone but the second someone throws a stone at us we start a war telling our men to go kill others. how is this justified? i mean if they can get all dressed up and kill why cant we? not that im saying i want to go murder people right now but how is it different? they are still human. but then again what is human really?
(i am not a homicidel manic, yet, im just curious! and i cant spell so im sorry!)
double standards is what it is. I don't believe in killing people and yet I am for the death penalty. If you kill someone you should die in my opinion. I support our US troops, but I don't go myself because I couldn't kill someone. I guess when you are raised in a society full of double standards it doesn't need explanation because it is what it is and it is all you know.
I am personally against killing and war etc probably like most of the rest of the people, but still I'm realistic and I know that certain things can't be gotten without one having to fight for them, probably from the aetheistic point of view the human form is given too much importance, bt still at the same time I believe that humans have an undying spirit within then so yes the human being is something important and taking lives incessantly and without care whatsoever is not good... it seems that one can't ever come to a full round conclusion for the pros and cons never stop..
I could personally sit here and swear down i would never take anybody elses life, but who knows, can anyone predict the future? If someone hurt or murdered one of my family members i would have a justified reason then.
I agree. We all have the capability to kill and if someone hurt or killed a member of my family or a close friend, it would take a lot for me to not grab a weapon and take that person's life. Who knows what we are capable of doing until we are pushed to the brink.
yeah thats true, no one knows what they can do if pushed to the edge, i know i have the capability to kill but i wud never do it unless pushed right to the end of my limits, and no one has done that as of yet.
but personally i dont really care bout people getting killed i mean we are all going to die sometime and somehow.
Plain and true
If you kill it you have to eat it
If that trueism were in effect
the masses would be much more peaceful
Personally I have no problem with killing another humanoid nor animal nor anything else
but if i kill it i will eat it
hence i dont kill
