That happened to me once in a dream. A friend of mine who had recently passed away was standing in my living room. He told me that this was the last time that he would ever see me, but that I could ask him any question and he would answer me. One question.

So I asked him what it was like to die. Suddenly, I was in a dark abyss. It was warm and I was floating. I remembered nothing of my mortal life, and didn't care to. It was total bliss. No heaven, no hell.

And then I woke up. There's more to it than that, but that is the basics of it. So I guess I already got my question answered.

How will i die? would be my question. That way, i'll always know how i will end and what won't kill me.

I would ask if my future will be better then past and present, that way i know i'll have something to live for rather then worrying if it be as it is now

m not trying to suggest that I have impressive knowledge, but I have always had a theory about another species watching us, and trying to figure us out just as much as we try to figure out whats around us.

There are so many theories about beings watching us.

i heard that there are a lot more planets with earth-like climates out there than it was first thought. sooo it could be that there are civilisations of similar beings out there... above us in technology or behind... who knows? there certainly is evidence around the world, myths and rumours to suggest there could be something... but echo PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE remind me of this when we're next together

But Banshee, I think you have reacted in the same way that I did. When I first saw this thread I immediately thought the following.

Why are we here?
Is there a God?
Is there an afterlife?

An then met another idea merged with these; do I want to know?When I spend so much time philosophising over this and that in threads, pondering the percievably unsolvable and trying to unravel everything, when I really think about it, I dont want to know.

In conclusion, if I dont want to know, then maybe it owuldn't want to know either. So I might say nothing at all to the being.
