This quote/excerpt comes from Brandon Lees last interview in the crow(my fav movie :)-)
..........................................................
Because we do not know when we will die,we get to think of life as an inexhaustible well, and yet everything happens only a certain number of times....How many more times will you remember a certain afternoon of your childhood..that is so deeply a part of your being, you can't even conceive of your life without it?
Perhaps four or five times more ?Perhaps not even that.
how many more times will you watch the full moon rise?Perhaps twenty. And yet it all seems limitless...
you tend to take a great deal for granted, because you feel like you're going to live forever. It's only if you lose a friend, or maybe have a near-death experience, (that) many events and people in your life suddenly attain real significance. When you take into account the fact that that could have been the last time I would ever see that person (or) do something so mundane as go out to dinner.... This is (where) this character is coming from. (He realizes) how precious each moment of his life is.
..................................................................
As a person with neardeath experience but too foolish to learn anything I always but a slight value to these lines but they mean a lot have you ever thought about it what is the moment you cherish the most in life or erm afterlife so far?
It didn't make a damn bit of sense to me. Sorry. Besides I was too busy looking at his loveliness.

O_o
Oh for fucks sake, woman....
hmm.. I guess i am the only one who actually listened to brandon without wanting to sleep with him. thats great to know
It is such a true quote. Everyone takes things for granted in thier life until something happens to wake them up and reilize they could lose everything... People should be grateful everyday of thier life, not just when something bad happens, because you never know. Thats why I feel bad if I leave when fighting with someone, I never know if it's going to be the last time I talk to that person, espicailly when it comes to family.
Living is existing. Death is always around the corner, breathing, whispering, waiting. Is there something after yes and no; it's what you believe. Will you remember that is your souls choice. Damnation, eternal bliss, fearless guards, let them enter the gate!
CorazonMuerto:
I met the man many moons ago at a martial arts expo.
No, I didn't try to sleep with him.
He was bright, funny and an all around cool guy.
You're not the only one who listened with their ears and NOT their hormones.
;)
just live ur life how u want to live it, have no regrets or doubts and have no dissapointments.
I Cherish everyday as if it were my last. Each morning I wake up and notice I am still breathing.. I cherish it. Death dosen't care what day it is. He meerly collects what is his when the time is due. After watchin a parent pass and another inches within death. I cherish the time that they have/had. Life is just that life. It should not be passed by to await the one that comes to take our soul from its mortal shell. It should be cherished everyday and not just let time pass by.
:: and once again I think I channeled the old guy from the karate kid... Mr. Meogie..::::
wow many great responses. I do agree that live should be enjoyed everyday but in the capitalist and money hungry environment we live in its hard to do so. somehow we always get sucked into the system whether we want to or not. I do agree so much about not waiting for you life to pass post. and ITS MIYAGI sorry being a karate kid fan i couldn't stand by idly while his name is mispelled
