is it possible to discover and practis a new type or paginism relidgon. like make up one that suits you. becouse i use magick but i also am a fighter. when i first picked up my m8s blade i know how to use it.
witchcraft is made in many parts, everyone is free to do what type of magick wants to practice, but at least one has to know what's he's doing.
I know you live in a different country, honey... but HREF=”https://www.vampirerave.com/message.php?id=59857”>spelling ain't THAT different.
AGAIN. I should not be allowed to attempt links in the threads. A'least it didn't eat the bloody thing though...
Copy that link and read that thread, kiddo.
yeah it is made out of different things but we also have the 162 laws tha we have to follow.. i try to do it my own....
thanks for the info...
I use magic, but not of that bubble bubble toil and trouble crap. I use real dark magic. I can turn your insides to goo with the point of a finger. You don't need to belong to a certain religion to perform its magic. combine it all and make your own.
Everyone uses different types of magic and some make their own, it doesn't mean it doesn't work if you make your own stuff. Besides Pagan has many different branches so you are free to do magic on your own so yeah, it is possible.

racking fracking thing
You can practice however you want but there is consequences.
sorry, but depending on you're paradigm there are unwanted results. the seven fold law only applies....if you believe in it...kinda like karma.
and yes you can make up you're own system of magick. that's pretty much what chaos magick is....exept the paradigmal piracy part....but it's almost the same....take what works, what you like, use it...and then move on.
and no offense, but you dont have to be pagan to be a practicing magickian. look at me....i'm an atheist....doesnt stop me from doing magick. all magick is anyways is a form of science....that scientists dont believe in.

good point, Frater Rath. My magickal "paradigm" is made up of quite a few things. You don't have to be a pagan or a wiccan to be a practicing magician. Sorry for the little rhyme.
i don't know, but you should just try different kinds of magic. you don't only have to just like one
Magic is Magic. Practice as much as you can. But remember follow the guide lines.
To Khay AIN'T is not a word !!
nothing wrong with tampering just be careful, i made my own seal and prayer to ward off evil spirits from my room ^_^.
Of course it's possible to change the way magick is used. It is said that as long as you bide by the laws you could do nearly anything. People have MANY different ways of using thier magicks, though it tends to depend upon ones will and element.
I created a pagan system to meet my needs. You can get to it through my profile....so in answer to your question, YES!
hmmmmmmmmm..... if one changes thier beliefs just to meet thier needs does that make it ok? though.... just think about it, can a sick person change thier beliefs to meet and justify thier need for killing? or maybe adjust thier belief system to make themselves think... its ok to do something illigal.... intresting if you just think about it..... hmmmmm.
agreed oblyvia, a person who is by nature darker would see things that way....a person who is not will not....magigk is a tool in the hands of the user....nothing more......it is neither light nor dark.....but the uses the witch puts it too may be.....
but it is not that hard to create your own way of following.....if you have a basis in basic magic....but then again...you can really screw shit up if you don't.....
but seriously....I will never say what i can or cannot do in here as that would fall under ego stroking.....not only that...but what if I need to rely on others not knowing what i can do......if you tell ppl then you screw with the possibilities of it working.....the best defense after all against magic is to make someone's beleif in their own abilities erode.....
The statement I do beleive in magic....I just don't beleive you have the capability to use it accurately against me works wonders on an opponents psyche
i think it's more of a matter of finding what's right for you. there is so much out there and there is no wrong way or right way.
i use a mix of shamanism and eastern ideals.
i thank you for your council. all of you. i was lost becouse i was always brought up to fight the dark, to drive it back. be it with heart, mind or blade but all the magick i know does very little to combat it. so i guess its time to strt lurning. again i thank you all
Use magick but always remember Do what you will as long as it harms none. There are consequences to your actions.
do what thou wilt harm non.....that's just a bastardised version of what crowley said....the ORIGINAL phrase was actaully just "do what thou wilt." period. granted crowley was talking about finding you're true will in conjunction with that....either way...the meaning has been added onto and perverted...

THERE ARE NO RULES TO MAGICK!!!!!
To all the stupid fluff bunny wiccans out there, drop the fucking three fold law because in all honesty your magick will work a hell of a lot better if you don't use it. If you like living in fear of a pentacle drawn on your doorstep, then fine by me it was just a suggestion.
And to all of you who say follow the rules, there really are no rules except the ones you create for yourself. If you don't believe in hurting people that's okay, if you seek retribution on someone and you could care less if they got in an accident, go ahead.
It's all in what you believe. Trust me people, I have been studying since I was nine, that's a decade now and I'm pretty damn sure I have the hang of it.
Just remember the rules that are there are put in place for control over you. People like silver "bullshit" ravenwolf just don't want to get sued so they throw the 3-fold-law in to make you fear "the dark side". The only rules you should have are the ones that you set in place for yourselves. anybody care to disagree--go ahead. I'm just stating my opinion.
hmm nightblossom those are some strong words you have there. Im pretty sure there is going to be a big debate now. But what you are talking about is actually a practice which is called chaos magick I think. As for three fold law I think the idea is to maintain order kind of like the idea of christianity's ten comandments. (sorry if no one knows exactly what Im saying)
Daermon, you're right. It's all in the hands of the user. It may not come back 3 fold, but I believe in karma. If you mess around, you'll be messed around with, and you'll deserve it.
There are rules, but they are more ethical than anything. Before doing any magic, you should do your best to make sure no one will be harmed. You can intentionally hurt someone using magic, but that'd be really stupid.
would you say useing magick on those who would do harm on otheres is evil/bad.
like fighten fire with fire
Have you ever tried fighting fire with fire? Lots of stuff gets burnt. I would leave it in the hands of karma. However, you can use magic to protect others from harm without going on the offensive.
