     This must be the oldest and stupidest question in history, but I still want to hear your ideas on this... 'cause I think everyone is so confuse on this subject... "How DO you REALLY know when you're in love?"

     Sure there are those gushy feelings... or that I would sacrifice anything for it but aren't those feelings just infatuations and irrational love? Some of our school guidance counselors lecture us about love being rational including what your mind, heart and soul tells you... still... what IS true love? (-.-¿

i can't say that i ever have been. and i don't even know if it's real or not.

but this is just my view of things.

For me.....

Love is when you put the other person first, and are willing to sacrifice everything for them without question.

It's a great feeling....and it hurts when it no longer is there.

Like a wise woman told me once....True love is not when you can live with someone for the rest of your life.....it is when you can not live without them ! The key to this is......they feel exactly the same as you do !

i agree with that, that was a very good statement as well as the others, its you half to trust what you really feel inside,its not easy for you half to work at it as well

     So its really hard to find or meet that someone... Since trust and affection aren't easy to express... (sighs...)

I just found out that I truly can say that there is someone I love. It's true, we stopped dating and all I feel is this empty void where I know she should be! If you truly love someone, you'd support them in anyway that you could. Even if your not dating anymore!

All I know is those gushy feelings and the thing about how I would sacrafice myself for that one true person I have.... Sorry I don't really have any good things to say. ^_^

Not everyone does, and you don't have to sacrifice yourself for anyone!

hmmm i'm not sure if there is a way to know for sure that it is love.....
you just have to trustwhat your insticts are saying to you....

I believe a LOT in several of these statements...As for cupid's arrow, then well, lets just say the cupid got a critical point in the neck...

well...lol i don't think it really is there..lol i mean sure people feel lust but is TRUE LOVE??....really there..??....i'm not sure it is even out there but so far i have never been in that sicuation before...lol....and even if i did i think it is more of a "lust" then acual "love" i would say......i don't think people are acually capable of putting another person in front of them...to put sum other needs in front of them....because they are soo self centered......lol...well they are....:D......

when you start to think of someone other than ourself, that's when you know its love.

oohhh..another love thread!! i don't know if it's really cupid who did most of the pairings. too bad it's only him to blame. but the worse is when cupid tries to pull out that arrow either from you or from your partner without even saying sorry.

Well,it's different for everyone.No one can tell it's either that or that.Love is not a mathematical thing which the answer is always the same.When you find 'true love' you'll know.Personally I don't believe in such thing, but I still wish you luck to find it,if that's what you believe and want.
