Well I was wondering why people take the user names soo seriously. I have had a lot of messages n such asking about my sn.. N why I have soo much hatred. Honestly it's just a name.. But I don't see why people take them so seriously..? I'm open minded, soo help me out here.

I've always gone by Mistress something or other but Mistress of Beltainne (yes, I know it's spelled wrong) is my favorite and I've changed all my users names to it.

I don't take it too serious but, some do some don't... But hey, "What's in a name but a rose... "

I didn't take mine seriousely, it came right from Anne Rice's pages. I wonder why everyone's quotes are so deep. But my username is just a username!~

Your username is your first self expression. It is a way for someone to identify you, how deeply is up to you. Either to reflect your sorrow, your joy, your carefree light heartedness.

A fun thing I enjoy is after I get to know someone, I'd ask them what their name means to them? It's not polite to just go right up and ask, of course I'm old fashioned.

My name is a spin off on Lilith. There are soooo many Lilith's out there, that I want to be unique, as I am. I made the name Lady Lilian some years ago, and it sort of stuck. *shrug. Sure only people closest to me call me Lilith, it was given to me when I was 16, half my life now.

my dear, ppl like to use differnt names just so they can feel like one of the group.
On here i have called myself SaphyrEyes which i thought was a nice name and 1st time used anywhere.


Lady Death: is my main one for email
(named after my fave comic char, but i was sadden when the artist died, and the comic isnt the same now.)


The main reason why I chose that name is
cuz when i was born ( as a human) all the
nurses in the hospital call me Bright eyes
cuz my eyes were of the most wildest
shade of blue they have ever seen and
showed me off to everyone in the maternity
ward, so SaphyrEyes is just another name
that i like, and thats all it is JUST A NAME!

I don't know why they take it so seriously. Maybe some people comment on a username to try to start conversation. My username is not my real name. I have had people ask me that in the past. It is just an alias I have used from time to time.

some people seem to feel a need to find something to pick at with everyone....myself included from time to time....and many take most things in life way too seriously....
my nick did not require any great thought.....there is no deep meaning to it....years ago on irc I needed a new nick as someone was using mine and being a dick getting the nick banned everywhere.....that was Caffiend.....
so I just pulled this outa the air
it is simply a shortening of a dark elven family name....if you read forgotten realms you ought to be able to figure it out

when you think about it, user names are pretty important (maybe this is just me) that being said, my name doesnt have jack to do with me nor do i really care about it.

theyre important in the way of, as was said before, first impressions (which in ALOT of cases are entierly wrong). some people make all these depressing names either because it "fits in with the scene" or they really have some issues which need to be sorted out, and others choose friggen crazy, but hilarious names.

im not sure if im making much sense, but thats what i rekon.

Well i think you guys/gals have got some interesting usernames to say the least,Mine is a Gaelic name given to me from my girlfriend and i love it so i use it in most of the forums i post in.
I don't take any of the usernames that serious in here....unless i see one that says Arland i am coming for you...lol.

I didn't really think when I choose mine, it was on one of thoose dull days when nothing interesting seem to happen, I found this web page and thought it was neat, and when I joined I just picked the first nick that came to my mind... That's why I spelled it in Swedish and not in english... didn't think of that then...

i fucking hate trying to come up with a name for something and then saying "that name has already been taken" then you have to fuckin recreate all of the stuff you just put down and.... its just anoying. if you feel the same say "I"

Madam Eva Vistonie D'ravnos has been my name sense i was a 14 year old melodramtic kid lol used it when playing masquerade it was something that sounded neat while running around the city after hours.... It has stuck but as Vistonie D'ravnos... Hehe if you google it you can see alot of the junk i have done online LOL

tis sad that some people tend to judge you by ur online name without having even talked to you:( that kinda peeves me off,, ive been booted from a few rooms on paltalk , my name on paltalk is"wicked wench of the west" apparantly the wench is extremely offensive to alot of ppl, go figure

people creat usernames for many reasons. The name has meaning to some but for others the username doesn't have much meaning to them. it's just a name. it just depends on the person. even so everone that has a username likes it or they wouldn't have chosen it so it does say something about them. Because someone has something in their username doesn't mean they like that things. they could have chosen it because it's the opposit of what they like. mine username wasn't chosen for that reason

ok people... how can you take my user name seriously? most likly you could guess what my real name is. ever since i was 10 i wanted to be a mortician. so thats where the morbid part came in.
