Hi All,

I recently read a newspaper article about a ghost being caught on CCTV. I was wondering has anybody ever actually filmed a ghost either intentionally or on purpose and why do do think these apparitions appear? Why do you think some ghosts only ever seem too appear on film/digital when you can see nothing with the naked eye? (technical errors excluded)

Does have any theories on any or all of these questions?

The fact that it lines up with the image of the man coming out at the end shows that it is more likely an anomaly generated by the camera, either deliberately or otherwise.

With even simple video editing software, one can make an image opaque. This looks faked to me.

...my humble opinion is that this famous film was edited with the intention to become the most popular video of this time. Ghost can not be caught in TV, reason, they don't exist. Let me elaborate. When people die, if they go to others places, now, they belongs to that place, and there is no avenue to transport them back into our place. Yes, there are those pesky human, who a MS in Filming Editing, who can make you believe that the impossible can be true.

In my opinion it just can't possibly be real, it looks as though they just edited the person to make their body appear lighter than usual. :/

I believe that the plane of existance we live on is one of many that all claim the same space to reside in but at different levels of existance. every night we sleep in millions of microscopic creatures breathing in all manners of air borne organisms none of these things can we see with the naked eye but their existance is not decided by what we can see is it? I havent seen the video so I cant really speak on it but lots of video techs do mess with the print inserting quick clips ect. in the days of the reel films you could catch glimpses of burn marks where splices were made. Its alot harder to see with the new film processes but not impossible.

I agree- it is just a little to refined a picture to have been a "real" ghost. More likely it is just an overlay or CG.

There are events in all of our lives that cannot be fully explained and that is why we all lack the knowledge to answer the question of whether ghosts exist or not.

There seems to be a lot of these videos on youtube, most of which look fake or could be explained by video overlays.
