Ok, since I am new here (about a week) I have no idea if this question was ever asked, so I am asking it...

Besides blood, what other substances can a vampire use to feed his/her self, or is it only blood that gives what a vampire needs to survive?

Not all vamps feed on blood, some do feed on energy. It's easier to obtain.

Most of the Vampires I know are just normal people who work, pay taxes, vote, ect.
As far as diet is concerned, Most of us are pretty picky as to what we put in our bodies, regular food wise.

i totally agree with the above.. i get the hunger every once in awhile personally for blood, but its not like i cant live without it..

It all depends on the type.

yeah there are different types of vampyres who feed on different things so no, vampyres dont only feed on blood

I wouln't consider energy as part of the "vampire diet", I think enerygy vampires are totally different than blood drinking vamps. I would have to say, just blood. Just my opinion.

i only know of the two energy and blood but myself i am a blood sucker and nothing more

Now, can the energy type be broken down into two sub-types: life energy and psychic energy?
Or is it all the same thing?

there are different types of vampire not just blood drinkers you have the psy vampire you take energy wether it is psychic energy or life force energy the life energy vampire is more of a spirt vampire drawing energy from you.I myself am of several types not just a blood drinker
