Some time ago I quit posting Vampire Rave updates to the Forum. I got sick of all the nice updates! posts. However, this topic may spawn some questions so I am starting a thread.

Referral Bonus

A change has been made to the Vampire Rave Status System. Members can now accrue a Referral Bonus. Full details are available on the Status System page.

You can check who has been referred to Vampire Rave by you by clicking Referrals in the User Menu.

For a limited time you can claim credit for people you have referred to Vampire Rave in the past. Details are on the Referrals and Set Referral pages, both in the User Menu.

i have a quistion cancer.... what happens if i put my self as the one being referred here.... (not that i did....) and why and why not...

So you don't have to worry about being a Premium Member to look at it?

I have to admit I’m a dumbass, but I am unable to pull anything up with the referrals page as it gives me an error.

And from what I understand, with the Set Referral page, we need to contact those that we referred and ask them to list us as their referral. Am I correct in this assumption?

I do believe that is the way of it. Contact those you have referred, and have them go to the Set Ref.

ahhh...ok....but what if no one referred you here.......just leave blank then ?

Yes, leave the field blank if you found Vampire Rave on your own, or if the member who referred you here is no longer a member.

what if re Refere them and the only come on once do you still get bonus ???

If the member only comes on once, referral bonus is insignificant as bonus points are only awarded for members you refer who are level 4 or higher.

If you mean they only come around once in a while and may not make the referral window, it is your responsibility to notify those who you have referred, have them log into Vampire Rave, and select you as their referring member.

Would it matter if you've been refferd to more than one person?

It is only possible to set one member as having referred you to Vampire Rave.

ok i referred some peps but i changed my name and profile but if they have my new name will it still count even if the date on theres is a few mths before mine ?

No. Setting a referral will fail if the referred member is older than the referring member.

ok ? every time i update it always says
0.9999999999998% and the rating is 4 always y

hmm....does it count if the link is clicked? or is it just counted by the set refferals?

If I am understanding your question right, you indeed have to have that person type your name in. Merely clicking it won't work. We need names. *smile*

I think it's a great idea but the ppl i referred can't put me down cos i deleted my pro and started again so they now have an earlyer start date then me and it wont execp me as thier referrer

You need to have him click Set Referral in his User Menu and have him fill in your Vampire Rave member name.

this hasn't happened to me but say a friend joins and they won't put me down under their referral

What if I refer someone that will sign up from MY computer - so the same IP?
Does that count?

How mant points do we get per person we refer?

Then you're out of luck. If I let the beneficiaries select who they have referred fraud would run rampant.

If it's a separate username, and they use one of the links as outlined on the Referral page, it will count.

well i jest seen the link on gothicmatch.com and thought i would chack it out and joined up and well that is that

i love the idea of referals ive refered 4 or 5 ppl here so far unfortunately most are under level 4 looks like ill be cracking the whip muahaha oh fun! :D

The Referral window has closed. From this point forward you will only receive referral points from members referred to Vampire Rave via special referral links. Click Referrals in your User Menu for more information.
