i was watching the discovery channel this morning and i found him to be quite
interesting. it is said that after killing his victims , (weather it be human or animal)
he would drink their blood.


Richard Trenton Chase was born 1950, he grew up in a middle class family and was a nice child. The C.P.R.P. ( Criminal Personality Research Project) said there was an illness in Chase's family. His mother was a Schizophrenic.


At the age of 12, his parents divorced and Mrs. Chase remarried. In high school, he started drinking and taking drugs. In 1969, he attended community college and soon dropped out. In 1972, he was arrested for drunk driving and in 1973 he was arrested for carrying a hand gun without a license. In 1976, he tried to inject rabbit's blood into his arm. He would bite off the heads of birds and trap small animals to drink there blood.


Near Lake Tahoe in August 1977, he was arrested for having his clothes soaked in blood and he had a bucket of blood in his truck. Chase said it was from a cow, and he was released. August to December he abducted or bought cats and dogs for their blood to drink.


On January 28th, 1978, Chase killed a pregnant young women in her home. The women's intestines were showing, several organs were cut out and missing, and you could tell he drunk some of the body's blood too.

He told officers when he was caught, that his blood would turn to powder if he didn't drink blood and he would die. He killed a total of 14 people in California and he suffered illness like his mother had.

but again it is just a lunatic who wants to give his killings a vampyric signature by the sound of it.

Im going to have to look that up also, though it does seem intresting. Thing is by the sounds of it, he reminds me of my friend Brett.

But how do we know he wasn't a vampire. Alot claim to be born vampires. Maybe this was an extremely rare case where the disease was carried from someone or something. And not just mental either. Maybe cases like this DO get out to prove their non-existance. If that even makes sense. In other words convincing the public they don't exist be revealing that something so horribl;e couldn't exist and that schizophrenia is to blame, or some other condition. Or it could be the case. Either way WE can never REALLY know.

Very true Lucios. Cover ups are always happening over various subjects. There are also those who would chose to be deceived rather than beleive the alternate.

I agree with you Lucios, that's a very interesting story....he could be a vampire..who knows but him...

jack the ripper was in the east end (poor part) of endland in the late 1880s and killed 5 "unfortunates" or prositutes, he was never caught and his killings escalated from his first which was just a throat slashing, and stabbing in the abdomen, to his next victims who had their intestines ripped out and uteruses taken, to his last victim, mary kelly who suffered a slashed throat, ripped up abdomen, face so cut up she was barely recognizable, and her heart was missing....its also rumored that he may have eaten some of the parts that he stole

I concur with Lucios. This could just be a cover up to protect the public from the truth. Its like Area 51- they tell us that a) it doesn't exist) and b) nothing unsual happens there, but wasn't there a supposed UFO crash landing a few decades ago?

Vampires are killing machines. They feed to live. Jack the ripper on the other hand never was accused of eating them, or drinking their blood. He just liked to slash and hack hookers. The BKA showed classic signs. I mean how many knew that ancient text on vampires does make the claim that the reason they drink human blood is because their blood supposedly dries up and turns to dust.

as for jack the ripper hes the serial killer who i am most fascinated by some of it is cause he was never caught or his identity revealed he was very smart and he knew his medical stuff but some suspect he wasnt a dr but someone who studied it in private or maybe he was a dr of some sort either way as lucious has stated no one will know if this particular guy is a vamp or not except him

We deny what can't be scientifically proven. Then when WE do define it. When we do FIND proof, we deny it again and say our tests and logic are outdated and useless. Same as Area 51. Sightings all over the globe and we're still told " It's weather ballons people."

Jack The Ripper simply liked to kill.

There a lot of killers who like to kill cause they like the site of blood or are sadists but that doesn't make them a vampire.

well who knows if this person was a vampire or not but him and as for him suffering from mental illness he may well have if it runs in his family or maybe due to the way his family was he was lashing out at the world somehow but like I said only he knows for sure

what's renfields syndrome exactly?

darkstarladybug its a disease that affect the blood stream and brain if im wrong ill let you know but if you seen bram stokers dracula ..do you remember the dr they imprisoned? that was dr renfield the guy the disease is named after remember how he was always wanting to drink blood he had a incessant need to do it well that type of behavior the rest of what it did show is what is deemed renfields syndrome .it could be a disorder to as its not curable and diseases are diseases cause they are curable where as disorders have no cure only viable solution to cure renfields syndrome would be a 24/7 donor and those are hard to come by and synthetic blood i dont think would do good cause its lacking certain traits only real blood has in it certain proteins etc

Thanks for the comments, but to be honest this is a duplicate thread...this subject was just thrashed out about 4 weeks ago and the thread killed by a member of the admin team..
