When someone makes a post about something, attempting to make a valuable contribution to the rave, or any forum for that matter, there is a tendancy for people to regurgitate eachothers words, not truly trancending to a higher level of being. Has anyone else observed this? If so, why must those uneducated or inexperienced pretend, to fluff their egos with said notions??? Its human, i realize this, but on a place like this isn't it supposed to be a refuge of sorts for the human mind, allowing the better natures of the soul to come out? If one doesnt know about what is being discussed or one has a question about said thread they should ask, or do reseach to find out more then just one viewpoint.

For example:

The alchemy thread, and then the spellcasting thread, I do not mean to pick on anyone, just merely ask the rave has this been an on going thing?

the alchemy thread i bring up, because the orignator of the topic asked a valuable point, but what does the cartoon show have anything to do with real alchemy other then giving out basic concepts to a mass media audience? If one is interested because of the show great, then go out and find out what it really is! respond with intelligence, and rise above the grass roots human level of being. Human or not, in a place like this, intelligence should be 1st. If one is here to gain information, then shouldnt the information be worth gaining?

Second, the spellcasting thread is brought to my attention because of the simple fact that a bunch of wiccans rush to the defense of the "belief" in the three-fold law, which for wiccans keeps them inline from doing anything naughty.

however i have worked for a Voodun Mambo, and she was catholic, and cast spells for people. Her viewpoint was equal exchange, and justification. My personal views are stated their on the topic, but just because one is wiccan doesnt mean one must stay wiccan. There is a world beyond the comfy labels of this neo pagan conformity that has been occuring since the late nineties, not only revolting in that the concepts are tired and regurgated, but have become as isolating as the major organized religions people use wicca to escape from. Has no one else noticed this? must we keep settaling for the mediocrity of this new time? or can we as a group of individuals do the research, and actually make this a community where people see the goings on of the cultures beyond their viewpoints? or must it remain to die like the rest of the other sites who dwell in vial regurgatation of the old, not making anything new?

sometimes I wonder if I have any creative thought at all. I mean the other day, I said to somebody, that every joke I know or story I tell it is all someone else's story or joke, unless I climb the empire state building and start swatting at planes, then I have some material to pull from, but otherwise, even my insanity is brought out by watching a commercail or a movie, these subliminal messages in advertisments make me realise things I should have realized on my own but I ignore myself just about as much as everyone does.

We live in a land of monkey see monkey do, I am but an echo of all that I have heard, sometimes I come up with an original thought, but that is only by accident. It arises when someone says to me you are wrong, when I defend my thought, well actually it isn't even my htought at all, when I defend what I have heard, then and only then do I come up with some new thought. Fortunately I am plugged into the matrix enough to hear the echoes, to heed myself, and am educated enough to defend other peoples philosophies which were not so carefully devized, and then I come up with something entirely new. Use the people who attack you for you to reach down wihtinside yourself to find out what you feel.

The other thing is you must remember it is the resistence in the wire that makes the electricity flow. Incompetent people get the pats on the back, talent gets critiqued. Talent if assuaged gets complacent and their cream does not rise.

The origin of talent into a monster mind arises from one pat on the back when we do not recognize in ourselves gifts. The master teacher gives us that pat on the back that makes us believe in ourself to be useful in society. Once we have this role based on self belief, everyone else must try to keep us down, they know it inspires us. As we bite into their necks and try to insert our mind virus into them, they squirm, pretend fear, but it is what they want, because they don't know what to think and they want to be our slaves.

I remember everything anyone tells me, even if I don't agree at that point in time, eventually I understand the fact that there is no truth for all time. There are many truths for different levels of existence. Even a person below you may understand life better, and what they say may seem wrong to you, but the very reason they do not develop is because they have been held back by this ultimate truth. When you get to the stage to receive such truth and you see why this simpleton was so right, then you see one of the truths that isn't temporal and doesn't change over time. Then you realise why they told you off, because you were a pegasus without wings clipped off yet. Truth clips wings, only innocence tries to improve life and others. The simpleton with the knowledge of the devil wishes he did not have the ultimate truth that stagnates his life and mind, he offers resistence, only to make you see in time that he was right after all. But see to see his enlightenment granted to him based not on personal experience the gift of knowledge is dead in his hands, getting to the point of all truths coming together, because your wisdom is based on self knowledge your Pegasus still flies, nothing can hold you back when you realise your reigns were only meant to get you to run so fast you fly. Marcus you are no plow horse.

My my, this comment has inspired command of many well thought out imagries, however it is a very simple thing that is lacking.

It matters not if someone is stagnent in the waters of their life, merely aware of what they are. Its the fact that they have allowed that stagnation to occur, with out the drive to move to the next step.

No of us should be plow horses so why do we so relegate our lives to such?

And just because you say what has been said before there is no reason to not have the presence of mind to expand and reinterpert and make better those thoughts found in others, suit you or those like you.

Ok, maybe I am out of line here yet am I to understand you that you are saying when people post things and use something to refer it to as in using the comic strip, is less intelligent then some one who does not? cause the way I see it if you can explain or compare something to whatever ~ to help some one understand what the thread is referring to then so be it ~ who are we to judg some one on how their intelligence works~ much less their minds on any given issue? is this not how we as humans learn and relate to issues or topics at hand~~ it is a forum and as far as I know you do not need to be some super genius to participate or ask~STUPID~ questions or give stupid referrals~ as you seem to precieve it some people relate on thoughs levels so why get upset?? as for as I am concern there are no ~STUPID~ questions or referrals in an open forum only dumb remarks maybe~~ Just my opinon on your thread~~~

Well friends, and I use the term loosely, I believeit is the same reason that makes people into sheeple. It is the security that lies within following the exact same thought process as everyone else. Now I know there are going to be a lot of people that gety upset but this is a "If the shoe fits" statement. I am not saying that there is no original thought ro spontanuity, however many people will have like minds, but there are many who just regurgitate the information already put out. Also there is the fact that each post boosts your levels. This (I am sure) causes some to add comments for the sheer level boosting effect. How ever it is known that most people would rather be secure than free. Kinda like the woman who is beat but keeps the abuse because it is what she knows. Or even why a man will go to a factory for 40 years, same job day in and day out, dead end as can be, retire and then be cast aside into nothingness.

The free excahnge of ideas is one held dearly in American society. Everyone has a viewpoint and it is worth reading. Research does not make someone more qualified to speak on a subject. It will give them a better level of understanding and hopefully help them form an opinion that is intelligent.

I research both to see if my thread is a repeat and the subject I which to present..I tend to think my beliefs aren't the only ones of value I want real thoughts not something being said just to be said like I'll think about that there is no converstion in that..I challenge myself daily because I do believe knowledge is power and the striving for it is what is important..I would rather not see ppl saying stuff just to be saying it but to take something they havent thought of before and go see what its about then come back and have something to say..That is to the point and not trying to over power others with gile or just plain blarney

this thread is designed to bring awareness to the fact that despite all people being free to do something, like follow another cause its easier, but its a matter of if forum are a place to share ideas, then shouldnt those ideas be at the very least interesting with some thought and individuality put behind the words spoken??

actually I disagree on the fast closure here as it is neither flaming...or a dead topic...it in fact something that has been widely speculated in other threads being given it's own voice...
most people around the site have fallen into the bad habit of the one or two word ansers...it is easier than thought, easier for levelling up, and easier on the typing fingers, however....it does not tackle an issue.
I try only to post into threads that actually make me think....even if all i am thinking about is tearing someone a hole for stupidity, or raising them for brilliance....

Markus, and all, I wasn't talking down to anyone. I was just saying that the soultrip that is taken by the innocent is not taken by the ones in the know.

Everyone on this site is very very enlightened. I look up to all of you. But research is something that others maintain, the use in research is for us to find other applications, to interpret theories for more modern times.

Daermon has consistently proven himself to be a voice of independence and truth since I have been a member of this site. Although I have not been in agreement with certain things he has said, he has ALWAYS been respectful of intelligent opinion. You Sir, are out of line and out of touch. even if we are a one comunity we are still different people with different point of views and none of us knows everything,that's why wel ive,to learn,but seeking fori nformation is important.

i believe that eveyrone has a right to there own believes if they wana post it up then do so but if your post is truely wrong then u need to do more sesaerch if u have a problem with someone posting why dont u ask them insted of puttting everyone on the spot and askingus why do they make these posts it doesnt clearify as to why they did is just cause they did to make a statement in there own believes.!
