Has anyone read the book: Vampires by Konstantine? What do you think about it if you have?
I have read some of his work. Are you talking about Vampires: The Occult Truth. He was supposed to kick off a series on that. He is a dark neopagan.
BLESSED BE
Yeah that is the one. I really liked it and hope he does more.
I have read a few of his books. I have read Nocturnal Witchcraft and Gothic Grimoir that are both really good but I have never read Vampires.
I haven't read any of the books, but I should check them out. Are they any good?
MrBlonde,
Since you've read this work and clearly, not many others have, or made it known that they have, would you perhaps be kind enough to describe some of it's contents and their bearing on the meaning of vampyres please?
Vampires: The Occult Truth was written with the intent to let people know there is convincing evidence that vampires do exist, with first hand encounters with vampires of all types, including contemporary mortal blood drinkers and psychic vampires who intentionally drain the life force from their victims.

I have read Vampires The Occult Truth cover to cover on more then one occasion. And I find it's contents to be rather informative. Especially the information and the theories concerning psychic vampirism. And though I have never used his protection exercises myself, I have been told that they work phenomenally. All in all, I for one truly do enjoy reading what Konstantinos puts out.
I have 3 of his books, nocturnal witchcraft, summoning spirits and one other but its not a vampire book. i wish i could rember, there all packed up right now, But i do like all of hs work and it was worht the money.
I'm a big fan of Konstantinos' work. I've read 4 of his books: Vampires: The Occult Truth, Summoning Spirits, Gothic Grimoire, and Nocturnicon. I enjoyed every one of them and highly recommend any Konstantinos book to anyone interested in the occult.
I will ask the same thing as genuineblood, can anyone let me know where to find them cause here its rather hard, if I whise to get my hands on a book I need the ISBN, so if one who possesses them can let me now the ISBN I would appreciate it cause they sound really interesting and would be a good asset to my collection. Its a number in the back of the book and it has the ISBN writwn before it also its called the key of the book.
Thank you I appreciate.
read some of his stuff....knowledgable.....
then I saw an interview....so full of himself it almost made me puke...
still see value in SOME of his writing tho
For a fun bit of trivia, Konstantinos is featured in Grand Theft Auto Vice City as a radio guest on VCPR. If you ever get to play the game, listen to the radio channel I have mentioned (VCPR) and wait for the skit on positive thinking. He is on that program with a con man and a woman who is on too many anti-depressants.
I've never read his books, but I would like to.
on how to get them... i just ordered them from waldens. im sure i saw some of his books at the st louis pagan picnic, they were with a shopp called the crows closet or coffin, i forget wich.. ill have to go find that site and ill see if i cant post it back..

Oh, I play GTA: Vice City just to hear that little segment on the radio. It's so funny. Anyway, for those looking for a place to purchase the book... http://www.llewellyn.com/bookstore/book.php?pn=K380
They sound like pretty good reads but i have the same problem as some of the other posters where to find them . Living in the Bible belt has a few disadvantages
llewellyn.com has everything you need or would want to know. You can go to the site and order a free catalog. I've been dealing with them for years. I highly recommend them.
BLESSED BE
As for what it is about, there have been good enough responses to let you know.
If you want to order, try the places suggested.
But if you need the ISBN number it is: 1-56718-380-8
I've read Vampires: The Occult Truth and many other of Konstantinos' works and I find it to be very informative and fulfilling. If anyone is interested in buying just go to your nearest book store or library. You won't be dissapointed.
madlyn: Just a little correction, NO and I mean NO psychic vampire drains their victims completely. I have known a lot of vampires none of them are that stupid.
i have read all of his books he is right to the point some of it i found a lil weird but once you have gottoen to the end u understand it and realize were he is getting hi information from and that he is realiable , i reccommend him as far has his books they are very well written
It a repeat of everything recorded. I haven't found one genuinly useful thing in any book out there. Just being here is my way of "writing" the only book I will ever need.
I've read Nocturnicon. I'm hoping to get the some more of his work soon.... I Love Borders. They carry a lot of books. He's a very interesting read. I look forward to reading more.....
His book: Vampires the Occult Truth is well woth the time to read it. Covers just about every aspect of Vampire lore origin. Great place to start if your looking to get educated on Vampires.
yes Ive read his books. And he is quite full of himself..but what I dont like is he seems to ignore the history and delve into that mixing it up a bit. There are some gret new books out there even one on bathory
I have read several of his books, and I highly recommend them. Konstantinos answered many of my questions, and since my discovery of nocturnal witchcraft, i have developed newer questions and more powerful rituals.
i remember being in High school when that book came out...not only did I like reading his work, but at that age, drolling over his picture..
Since the thread starter and almost everyone posting here, refuse to actually discuss the substance of his work, this thread is dead.
