By order of Oceanne, I am compelled to respond.
Typically, when I expound on this subject I have had time to properly compose a more understandable statement - but here goes.
Space, typically referring to any area that is not of Earth, is directly related to the elemental particles which compose our reality. If anyone has followed some of the threads in regards to belief, you'll see that this is a contradiction, but bear with me. The Earth's water is affected most dramatically by the gravitational pull of the Moon, a consequence known as the tidal force. We as humans and comprised of 70% water are not least effected.
Allow me to digress momentarily while I explain the chemical known as Oxytocin. Also in a previous thread regarding sex magic, I explained that during orgasm the brain is flooded with this hormone and neurotoxin which elevates the feeling of religious oneness and trust. My statement of "flooding" is relative. Western Medicine has created a synthetic version of this neurotoxin known as Pitocin which they use to induce labor in pregnant women. Western practitioners claim it does not flood the brain in the same manner as the natural product but overdose can lead to convulsions, hemorrhaging and death - indicating that it does enter the central nervous system. It doesn't take much to overdose the patient, either. The body, making this product naturally, knows how much to make in order to attain the proper level - and so we see that "flooding" is relative to the person being exposed.
I tell you that to tell you this. Our hormones and neurotoxins are a delicate balance and dance of nature within ourselves. Electrical currents flow through millions and millions of neurons with such precision it is nearly devine. But they being made primarily of water, as is the nature of the human body, are subject to the intricate working of the celestial bodies as well as their immediate surroundings. This, of course, is assuming that the body is still only affected by the gravitational pull on water, which would be near sighted.
The truth of the matter is that each planet and star within the sky is effected by it's neighbor as a result of force and propulsion. This force and propulsion is known as energy, and is evident in each quantum of physics, from the planets orbiting the sun to the nucleus of the atom with which we started the conversation. The effect of a series of planets upon another planet will create a gravitational or even magnetic force upon an individual human, his hormones, and normal functions, regardless of how minute. As I have demonstrated, a minute effect on a person's neurotoxin can have dramatic effects on their being.
This is my GENERAL theory of the effects of Astrology/Astronomy on the physiology of life on Earth. So what does that have to do with magic? Everything. It's best to understand exactly what is affecting all of our most intimate parts before, during, and after performance of magic.
