The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

While I am not a fan of Anne Rice writing, I did watch the movie back in 1994. I enjoyed it, but it wasn't a movie I would watch several times.

I tuned into the latest version- on TV. To me it was a little over the top on a few things, like the accents. But the location, clothing was a joy to see. And I did like how Lestat was played more 'vampire' to me. And as in the movie the whine crying of Louis got on my last nerve. Claudia was portrayed more evil, I think.

Unlike the movie it seems a second season is coming, going into the 2nd book I assume. I have to say looking toward to the second season since I never read the books.

Anyone else? Was it true to the books, you think? Or just another butcher job?
