Vampires - are they all different and just exist the way people decide to portray them or is there a true vampire trait that exists? What defines a vampire to be a vampire?
the craveing of blood. loves being bit and biting and the taste of blood! and someone who prefers the dark. that is what defines a vampire in my book.
A dictionary.
Seriously though, there are all sorts of references online to define a vampire-- Sang, Psy or even the more business type of vamps. Just look itup sweetheart. Find
No sense adding anything else, Nara hit the nail on the head.
Ooooooooh *jumps up and down and sings* " Nara gets a cookie ... Nara gets a cookie! And a glass of milk!
Seriously what I think this person was saying though is what does everyone "here" feel that a vampire is. Granted there are so many things online, including a dictionary heh, but I think she was going more for personal opinions.
*shrug* But then again, what the hell do I know?
my responce to the question is as follows
Vampires are defined by me as this:
Ones who raise with greater intellect onto those who are much indeed the same - to implicate the horrific
eventual outcome of what is to be seen - for what is forbidden
in the nocturnal dark skies ? I often wonder if anything is indeed
forbidden - for at night is when creatures lurk in hunger, is when they are most alive and seeking that energy that fullfills their neverending desire - to stalk their prey which in most scenerios is a willing participant in a quest of their own -
vampires not only seek blood for their feasting pleasure - but also meaningful conversation in a romantic setting as well - they are by no means one dimensional - but improvise quick and are always thikning ahead - for in a vampire for those who are true to the name - are what make the nights the time to live !
carpe noctem
Lord Dracula
Yeah Angelpie, thats what i was thinking of.. its pretty obviuos what the rest of the dictionaries, online sites and what so ever think about Vampires, but thanks anyway for answering all of you
1) Mythology in European folklore, a dead person believed to rise each night from the grave and suck blood from the living for sustenance
~~~~~~~~or~~~~~~~~
2) Somebody who preys on other people for financial or emotional gain
that last one is just for kicks XD
Jason, you have no idea how much crap I've taken over the wording contained within that page. Quite a few people disagree with it.
First of..excellent topic Ladyblood. Its good to hear peoples views of the subject.
I think my defination would probably be like Bram Stoker's character, Dracula :)
