Blade Trinity
A union of three, displease, lack of expectation and a final result of what I hope is completion.
Where is the lost darkness of vampyr, as vampires are to be dark and brooding, mysterious and are to propagate evil? I found Blade Trinity to certainly be deficient in all locales and believe it has run its course and certainly shall not linger in the memory long as I feel the series has collapsed under self-parody.
Unlike Blade the original I had not felt the dark atmosphere laced with a feeling of impending doom for mortals. The darkness of immortality had been lost amongst the comedic rolls cast.
My opinion was it was poorly scripted as well as if Drake was the first vampire, the father of all vampires then why had he had similar features to that of Nomak (leader of the “Reapers” in Blade II) as Nomak was a created bloodline and hybrid by Damaskinos, thus Drake being the first would not have had those same features, I would think? Such to I is an ambiguous plot, leaving myself disappointed with David S. Goyer as Blade and Blade II were well-written and thoughtful comic-based films, however I feel he removed that. I myself had been anticipating attractive and engaging battles and found few and was certainly in anticipation of historic intelligence to the father of all vampires and it was not present.
ok well here is my take.
the first blade movie was awesome! couldnt get enough of it, i watched it maybe like 100 times! heck..throw in a couple of hundred more...yeah im obssesed i know...
the sequel was alright...i could take it...pretty ok except for the ending which SUCKED!
the third....just a joke. i hated it....
no comment on that...it was just a disgrace to the first movie...
*shakes head*
damn hollywood..
hollywood is the epitome of the boulevard of broken dreams
It ruins everything and even skews perspectives.
No. He will be back. Perhaps on his own if not in a spinoff. Either way trinity may have had a weak storyline but it was entertaining all the same, at least in my opinion and that is all I look for in a movie.
Yup, I am with you Marjarah... "Blade Trinity" was a sore dissapointment for me. So much of the same old stuff. I don't think I would go back to see another. Shame really.
i never liked any of them (havent seen trinity yet) but i only liked the rave seen with all the blood that was the only thing i liked....
I cant really pin point exactly what i didn't like about the first two, it was a combination of things.... plot, ficticiousness (sp??) and choice of actors..... *shrugs* only my opinion
i agree with darkness
1st blade-kicked ass
2nd blade-good, but the ending wasnt good at all
3rd blade-ok, but could have done better
Officially, the Blade series is done.
Wesley Snipes said he will not return to do anymore Blade movies.
Rumors are going around that Jessica Biel and Ryan Renolds' characters will be spinned off onto their own Dark-Stalkers movie.
So, in a technical sence....
The Blade series has run it's course.
Jessica Biel and Ryan Renolds ....to me they were a disgrace to the trinity series....it was bad enough , then they had to add them....in my pinion, they were just some pretty faces to entice the audience...
*ugh*
i didnt see it yet but when you pawn off pro wrestlers as actors you end up with a b movie most times
I liked the 1st blade. 2nd no, 3rd no. If there is any series of movies to reeeeely get a person in to Vampyre culture, watch the anime Vampire hunter D, and its secound one. Another one is the anime series called Hellsing (not van hellsing). Those kiked anus and will continue to rule in my opinion, not to mention Under world 1 & 2. Those ROKED !!
lol a few mistakes in my post there its, "Underworld" and ive only seen piks and previews of 2nd Underworld, LoL I got ahead of my self there. lol ^_^
i heard rumors that the Underworld 2's prduction was ceased...i wonder if that is true.
