right i have known for a while that this was the orginal prequel to the exorcist- but wasnt released because it wasnt 'gory' enough- so they chose to release the other prequel ( exorcist the beginning) but why release this prequel now? after all its practically the same as the other prequel- but not as gory- and with a somewhat different cast- i will be going to see the film- just so i can compare the two and decide for myself which is superior- what are your views on this?

I think the original is best. Period.
