I've started reading it, but I had to stop.. What I've read so far was good and all I've heard about it was good. I'm sure you will enjoy it.
Trust me...will answer any and all questions you have about the truth about Vald and the Dracula legend

thanx everyone i must go buy it now and add it to my collection
I plan on trying to find it and read it. I love reading and I have heard great things about this book.
I have only read other peoples views on the book in the forums here, supposed to be about Vlad Tepes i think...or at least based on and around him.
Well, if you google it you may be able to find some good reviews. I cant personally help, but if you do decide to read it, it would be nice to hear your review on it.
Just got it from the library today, but have a few books that are due back sooner I need to read first. Looks awesome though.
AN STORES THAT SELL STAFF ABOUT VAMPS.. SIMILAR TO BOTANICAS FOR WITCHCRAFT
Curiosax1nite- could you give us a bit more ifnroamtion on the book? As it sounds like you hev read it, or at least know something about it...
I've got it, up to Chapter 13 so far...
It's told from the perspective of a girl who discovers a strange book and letters kept by her father from years before, detailing his (and his predecessors) investigation into whether or not Vlad Dracula is still alive, as a real vampire.
It's great (so far) and there have been a couple of genuinely chilling moments, which is pretty rare in a novel, I find.
It's told as a true story, in a similar way to Bram Stoker's novel; diary entries and records of conversations.
I highly reccomend it.
I really like it when stories are written in that format, it gives the reader a lot more chance to get involved in each character and their vesion fo events... do keep us posted on how its going, and enjoy!
the homeroom teacher recomended it to me he is going to buy it for me for my birthday but they say that it is pretty long so my history teacher will lend me his copy to get started... i hope its as good as the Vampire Chronicles
I'm up to Chapter 37 now
It's the first time I've read a book that has actually given me a chill down my spine. I'ts the way she describes the vampires, the way they move, and when one attacks at one point, the action isn't even described, it's the character in the next room that senses something has happened.. like something out of a nightmare.
Absolutely brilliant
started over...seemed I was just trying to get ratings...but I dygress
I watched the 20/20 special and it sounds like a really good book...i'd buy it...but i have no money...ha!...
