I have used a certain type of runes for some time now. They are siox runes. I just can't remember what book they are from and what the writers name is.

I copied them into my own little journal. I have found that these are really strong runes for me. They increase my spells energy and my seals.

I know there are a lot of runes, I already practically have these remembered. Does anyone feel familiar about these runes and maybe know what book they are from. I remember the books cover is either blue or green.

I copied the alphabet from the book and wrote a lil extra down on the bottom for what I did to my altar.

It shows the runes, not quite like mine, but very similar.
I ordered mine in alphabetical order when I had the book. It says on this website that;
Elder Futhark

Elder Futhark is thought to be the oldest version of the Runic alphabet, and was used in the parts of Europe which were home to Germanic peoples, including Scandinavia. Other versions probably developed from it. The names of the letters are shown in Common Germanic, the reconstructed ancestor of all Germanic languages.

I had to look up saxon runes because that was the closest name that would show runes. But I specifically remember in the book that it was siox runes. Maybe I should do further research. lol. I guess this is a kinda weird thread. If anyone else wants they can post runes that they use. Who knows what interesting things we might find. Oh and if you can, post up the info on where you got the runes and how they helped you.

I have been using Norse or Saxon Runes for a long time. and that is what you are showing here. Though some of them are newer than the Elder, and I am not sure the alphabet is completely correct. Runes are actually Norse specific. Most other cultures do not label thier writting system as being "Runes." Olgams are another older form. Each Rune has not only an alphabetical meaning but an individual purpose and meaning aswell. Each Rune draws a very specific energy for a particular purpose. Like the "Tyr" Rune (letter T) Represtents the great god Tyr. God of Contracts and War. It draws foward energy to be victorious through any struggle. Not an "easy win" but one that is won against overmounting odds.

maybe it's just me, but they look an lot like the tolkien runes.

Those aren't runes dear, those are Pheonincian Ancient Greek letters.

There are only Theban Runes and Furthank Runes.
Here are the Theban for you. You'll find they work better.
