Some time back I watched a movie called Lifeforce link to IMDB.

In the movie it suggested that aliens were the cause of the vampire legend. What are your thoughts?

Could it be that our understanding of aliens and vampires are somehow skewed a bit off and that the life force is what is tapped instead of the blood?

On the other hand there is the argument that the blood is the life etc... anywho, letme hear your thoughts.

Are we speaking about interdimensional advanced beings and lizard people being non-corporeal energy feeders that live off the fear of human-kind, or are we discussing a plausable theory equated to the Annunaki?

But if you go back to even the bible it speaks of nephilim and that they were children of angels. Angels were mystical beings of the sky, As well as the old testament also early man uses the word elohim, which is what they refer to god as, and it means "From the sky" plural meaning more that 1, and eloha is singular for from the sky.

I think you nailed it, but wont remount in any debate simply because is useless.

Lifeforce was an enjoyable movie.

depection of a vampire race from outer space. why not legends or fables of aliens are around maybe abduction is them draining the life force of us?

i read the original book years ago by colin wilson.its one of the best vampire books ive read.it is so worth getting.

Aliens are from another world completely. Another species, intergalactal, everything about aliens in general is different. I don't think that it is possible at all that aliens could be the cause of the vampire legend.

Blood flow keeps life going yes i don't see how it has anything to do with aliens and such.

The idea of alien "vampires" is totally plausible in my opinion. Who knows what an alien race may require for food or sustenance? And with the idea of psychic vampirism , draining a being's "lifeforce" makes perfect sense.

Is an interesting theory I have never heard of the movie I much prefer to read the book they are always more accurate,I have been reading tons of vampire books lately and wouldn't mind reading it. Thanks, lol.

I saw that movie, it was rather good. Does make one think deeper, that vampires could be from a whole different species altogether from elsewhere.

is it plausible? its certainly possible...but the plausibility factor is one that i have no way of gauging. it does make more sense than the dead rising up to feed.

that said...what if the dead rise up because there is something withing them from a source we dont understand? what if the person seems dead to every test...but a virus (for lack of better explanation) is keeping the body alive somehow and requiring fresh blood to survive? (just playing devils advocate).

ill leave it at that for now.
