Being here I have heard a lot of negative things on the vampire books and movies and the popularity they bring, and how people are becoming annoyed with it.

My question is, is there anything postive from the vampire craze?

It's bringing Vampire Rave more business ;)

i myself enjoy the vampire craze. . .i like vampire movies, and new age, myth and history of vampire books. . .if people are going crazy for them, they tend to make more stuff about them.

There will always be positives and negatives to all crazes. A positive is that it is bringing people to VR

The more people that comes to Vampire Rave the more profiles I need to rate. Nothing good about that. I'm for quality members I.E.active members with intelligent forum posts and profiles. Not curiousity seekers who have two sentence profiles that don't come back after being online a time or two.

Well Edward cullen and bella are bringing the craze up even more, look at the rateable items on database lmao, it appeals mostly the teens who like the romantic side to it in twilight 1 and 2, i thought dracula 1992 did that also for an all round age group, i think it is a positive thing which can lead to greater things once on the true quest for knowledge of vampirism

Positive sides.. It's very humbling, actually..

this may sound crazy yet, negativity has always brought about positivity from sociey. I feel the whole positive side is right here on VR. they are free to be who they are and discuss the negative and positive side every day on here.
So there ya go.. ;)

i think the postive for me in the vampire craze is i get to see good movies and read some books that are pretty good

i also get to watch children act like little goffs, i sorry i just think it is funny to see kids dress up from rave movies and imanite it

well hell most of Halloween kids do just that they take from movies and stuff, I also have to say that it is the positive side for me .. ;)

I like Vampire movies and books, but saying I am a actually vampire is not my style.

Vampires are becoming as commericalized as New Age...etc.

Everything has it's positive and negative side.

Tis' true that there are negative and positive sides to everything yet, some such as this have more negative than positive and that is just sad.

I think the positive side is that there have been some more interesting books about vampires that have hit the mainstream as well as some pretty funny movies.

There will always be negatives and positives with any craze.

I think there is a big positive effect from the "vampire craze", with all the books and movies that are coming out. As well as all the new jewelry and clothing that are being made to fit the new books and movies.

I think it is totally ridiculous on how ppl are re-acting. The whole idea of crazed fans can do more harm then good. I think ppl just take things way to much to heart.

The only positive thing that can come out of crazed fans is on the business side, someone will make heaps of money out of it.

Money.
Just think of all of the young Twilight fans who live rent-free at home, with their discresonary income...and the general popularization of vampires in general means...Mo' money! Mo' money! Mo' money!

The only positive side that I can see, is that this crazed fan are now exploring the subject of Vampirism. Yes, for some is just a pass time, for others, a beginning into the unknown. .
