I've heard things of them from people and was wondering what people here thought of them.
Anyone care to assist?

Well,if you are speaking of the fantasy version like in Underworld,I guess I would say Id see them as something I wouldnt want to contend with.As for the real version as in wherewolf syndrome then I feel for these people.Especially in a culture who view hair in the body as undesirable.

Lycanthropy is what the syndrome is called...but as for "Lycans" it is a term made up for the movies Underworld.They DO NOT exist..even if people want to believe they do.

Well I don't know, my reason for asking...

Not much tales of the story or fable of the werewolf. yet some documentation can be discovered through out the web. yet as lycan is considered it must be taken from hollywoods version of the werewolf.

Whether it be fiction or reality.No one knows really.Science are still discovering new mysteries.On the forefront of this subject,werewolves or lycans will always be in fiction.But who knows.

Lycan is a roleplay term and nothing more.

The werewolf, Loupe Garou, are mythical creatures that are rumoured to exist, but no evidence of these creatures have been found. Much like the yetti, loch ness, wendigo, etc.
