I originally started hunting this way, in my early teens. Believe this or not. No I don't post here normally, but it's worth my two pense.
In my dreams I would see places, people I've never seen before. I would be attracted to them by a smell, a hint, usually a sweet smell, I found out later it was a sweeter smell in the actual blood sugars. When you become ill your blood sugars go arriy. To me it smells like warm watermelon on a summers day, ready strawberries, stuff like that.
Only twice in my dreams in the past years had I been addressed by the people that are ill. That is for my own thoughts, not for here. To make a long story short, I would hold them until death came to them, and it was always willingly from a severe sickness, hense the scent that would draw me.
Normally in the morning, I am energized, but VERY meloncholy. It took years to understand that what I have is a gift, I help those to find eternal rest in their sleep in the wee hours of the night.
How do I know this isn't just dreams, or how can I tell the difference? It's the quality of the dream, it's clearer than waking hours to me, simply as that. Plus when I'm on the internet I'll see a place, a picture of someone, and a tear will run down, because I KNOW of that place, or what happened to that person, their last moments of release.
What can I say after this? I don't know, this is why I don't post often. I will twist a thread with another;
Can a Vampyre hold somesort of faith? I say yes, I'm wiccan. I believe that we are given gifts, and help humans with these gifts. It is our responsibuility (spelling) to acknowledge this, plain and simple.
