The strangest thing happend to me a few nights ago...

I was laying in bed, the room was dark apart from a stream of light coming from outside the door. I had my quilt on and was laying face towards the wall on which I could see my shadow.

After awhile, I noticed that my quilt was going up and down as if someone was breathing under it... It was a very steady, regular motion of which I had no control over... I changed my position and went back to the wall after a minute, only to see it was still there. I made sure I was laying still and that everything in my room was just like it always is when I go to sleep... I tried moving the quilt myself, seeing how it would look if I raised it up and down by myself and it wasn't the same... It couldn't possible have been because I was breathing heavily or something like that... And when I stopped moving the quilt that motion just came back. I called my sister, and she saw the same thing and couldn't see anything which might have had an effect on it.

I have tried to lay in the same position, doing the exact same thing, just laying down breathing normally... since that night... and that motion hasn't returned, when I lay down on a normal day my shadow is just still.

Is there anyone who has any idea of that this could possibly have been? Can the fact that I am pregnant have something to do with it? Or have you experienced something like this yourself?

i haven't dealt with the same, however i believe things in all honesty react and act the same way as the movie PULSE. it's possible to enter this universe through alternate ways. given the right conditions you probably didn't deal with anything natural or nice, you unlike someone who isn't pregnant has 2 life forces. if things exist like the movie ( which is very possible ) the entitys in the movie were attracted to life since they had none, you have two in one.....it may have attracted something unnatural. just my opinion so don't take it personal. i believe in most things paranormal.

I have never had this happen to me before except for after I had been on a boating trip. That is when I found out I got motion sick. I think that maybe your equlibrium may have been off. I have also heard that ear crystals can cause that feeling. Good luck.

i don't believe it has anything to do with you being pregnant because i myself have witnessed paranormal experience. Shadows moving on the wall when no one else was in the room and my stereo turning on by itself

The other day I was lying on my bed listening to holosync(meditation CD) when of all of a sudden I felt the bed bounce as if something had pounced on it. I opened my eyes and nothing was there. true story

It sounds very eerie. But it could have been your pulse, or the baby.You seemed to be in a state of heightened awareness, and that may be why your pulse or the baby may have been fluctuating heavily. I would be a little weirded out myself it that happened to me!

I had an expreince simiare of paranormal activities (well got several but lets stick to the recent one) last night I was asleep when I got wake up by 2 male figure or form in the darkness, but as soon as I moved and screamed they vanish...until I moved they stayed there and then they approched me thats when I screamed.

i dont really have an answer of my own to share with this, but i have my own story.

once, i was on vacation with a friends family at a rented lakehouse. my friend and i decided to take a midnight boat ride once they were all sleeping. we just wanted to be out, and werent going to harm anything, and we took one of the quieter, newer boats. we were out a little ways, not that far from the shore, when we were talking and she just suddenly stopped. she was staring at the shore and i turned around to see, figuring that we had just been caught.

her biological (sp?) mom was standing there, waving at us and telling us to come back. (i never met her but i recognized her from pictures that she had). she was crying, and she was talking to us but not very loud.

let me take a minute to explain that she lives with her dad and stepmom, and her real mom had died the year before.

with that said, i could see that she was terrified (so was i) and didnt want to go back, but i steered the boat back anyway. she just cried and didnt protest that much. we got back to our room and i tried to calm her down but we were both still really freaked out. the next morning, after finally getting a couple hours of sleep, we awoke to loud voices. we went outside to see police everywhere. apparently, someone was murdered by the lake not too far from where we were, and they found the body around where we had gone with the boat.

she guessed that her mom was trying to warn her, and we still both credit her for possibly saving our lives. it was the freakist thing either one of us ever experienced.

this is something that happened to me a few years ago....

when i was 18 years old, two years after i had become interested in the parnormal. i lived in a mobile home and my father in which was parapalegic on his left side' we had to leave the kitchen light on for this purpose in case he would holler at me late at night. well one night my nephew had come over and was staying the night. for some reason i couldnt sleep.

well while i couldnt sleep , later ont hat night i heard a noise and thought it was my father, but i didnt hear any noise afterwards. then i happen to look at the crack that was in the door and seen 3 shadows coing towards the room that i was sleeping in. then they vanished. well i tried to go to sleep then i felt an icy cold hand on my back and my blankets ripped back from me. at this time in my life it actually scared me a little bit. but i pulled my blanket back on me and closed my eyes.

after a bt of having my eyes closed i opened then and turned towards my feet, and at my feet i saw 3 firgures standing there. one was of a burly 6 foot plus man and the other two a boy and a girl not much further than one year apart. well this scared me. well i decided to open my eyes again and the the little girl that was with the bunch was right in front of my face. her lips were moving but couldnt hear a thing. and i closed my eyes again..when opened for the third time they all had vanished.

the next morning i asked my nephew if he had seen anything and he said " yes i did i seen a big man with two children" and then they vanished in front of me....

did you ever see them again?

nope i havent seen them again..but have had similar experiences ..so it could be the same ones doing this..but it is hard to tell unless they are seen.

i wonder why they got so close... think theyre friendly or just looking for something?

I dont know what it could have been. I have had paranomal experiences before. I have had that bed thing happen to me alot latey. It is weird but I am used to weird things happenin to me.

i dont think they were in to doing something bad.they were trying to catch my attention and they certainly grabbed that...i think they were trying to tell me something...i needed to add more detail to that but didnt get it all down

well it is hard to tell when or where things are gonna happen to you. ive been doing these things for 17 years now and most of all of it is unprecitable.

I know that most of it is unprecitable.

It may have been some sort of otherworldly being who was attracted to you because of your heightened state during preganancy. If you didn't feel anything negative or dangerous while this was happening, chances are they were just checking in and wanted you to know they were there.

I personally haven't had to many experiences... all of mine have been small things that I never noticed until I looked back on the situation..... However... My other half has had some crazy moments... One includes him levitating... I know these things happen and although small mine have made me a firm believer.... there may be a link to you being pregnant but since it's only happened once for now it's hard to say...

yes i tis..one cannot predict what a spirit is going to do...i have had many an exp with them that is really hard to explain...but i know what happened...have many many stories i could tell..but just lettinmg them lay low but not so much now lol

Well as SlaveAngel stated above I have had a few expeirences .. Growing up I had many frightening ones .. As a child it was anyway .. As I look back on those today it seems I was a magnet for paranormal activity ... The one she mentions above was at my Family home in Riverton , Ill. built by my great grandfather in the early 1900's .. I hadnt been back there for years and when I stayed there one evening I awoke literally 2 feet above where I was sleeping .. instead of freakin out I just said., Very Funny gramps and I slowly went back down... I have had many more but that was the one that I'll never in my life forget .. Going back this fall and its been almost 14 1/2 yrs since I have been back ... Wonder what awaits this time..

I have had similar experiences with shadows and movements on my bed like pet for instance jumping onto the bed, when I haven't had a pet in years.

It could have just been an other worldly spirit visiting you and being naughty trying to frighten you, or perhaps a guardian resting beside you and protecting you. There are many possibilities it all boils down to how you felt towards the spirit as to whether they were friend or foe.

what time at night was it, this could affect how powerful an entity is.

actually, the time of day or night doesent help or hurt the energy of a spirit. some and actually half of whats been seen has showed themselves in the daytime...these are ones that draw alot of energy from the things around them...to see one in daytime is truely and exp...and very rare

When i was pregnant with my first baby...

I was in Bed and I wasn't alone...

I woke to the sensation of the bottom of the bed being lifted up and then plonked back down.. My body was still moving from the motion as I opened my eyes. I also heard the dull 'thud' as the bed hit the floor. it happened Twice to me.
I can't explain what it was.. I have heard that relatives from the past visit and make themselves known to you, when you are expecting a baby.
But I am dubious of this...
I have no evidence FOR this instance to be linked in this way.
But I know what I felt and I know it woke my partner, too.

there are many many things that can trigger these experiences...it is very hard to tell what does this...even tho the training tells ya that when on eis pregnant that it can couse this...but even at that the other things can cause it as well...so i dont believe that just the idea that yu being pregnant is the only thing taking place when this happened..had to be more than that :)

I didn't feel any negative energy at all during this, I was mostly calm just staring at the wall as the shadow was moving. My first thought that it was reflecting my baby breathing inside me, or something like that.

I've been visited by an incubus twice before this... And it was suggested to me that perhaps it was an incubus this time as well, but that they are unable to attack you when you're pregnant. However I haven't found anything about the effects pregnancy can have on an incubus...

As for the time, it was around 11 pm I believe, that's my usual bedtime...

I have had similar experiences to HellKaisersAngel......shadows moving in the room and things turning on or off by themselves, who knows what it could be, maybe lost ones or lonely spirits wandering thru our world looking for something to pass their loneliness and solitude.........it is weird but i guess you come to live with it.......lets just hope it isnt any of the 13 ghosts coming for us......

i had one strange thing for a week ago. i was going in the wood to my boifriend, he lives in the wood. and there is a ghost i never met before. It is a man who was hitted by lightning and died or something, is told. some meter from where my boyfreinds friend had felt that man, i herd a voise in my ear! a really calm voise, little dark but not too dark. it scared the hell out of me. and i knew the was nobody there, and even it was, how could a person speak into my ear without seing it?! it can be my immagination, but i never hear voises in my head... :S

i havn't had something exactly like that happen but i was laying on my bed a few days ago and then i looked down and it looked like someone was sitting on the edge of the bed. i called my mom in and she saw it to and got dad and they both lost it i waved my hand over the spot and felt nothing then i kicked at it and it was like whatever was there jumped up. it was quite interesting and my dad will not step foot in my room now lol.

I dont believe being pregnant has any thing to do with it but as for the experience, I was attacked by a floating ironing board about 6 years ago.
