Yup. Lost my ass on the slots. If you have advice about slots.. please post it.
Stay away from the video poker machines. Damn near everyone on the ship lost big time.
Roulette: I won big here, and I didnt get to play that long. If you want pointers on roulette, please let me know.
Let it Ride and Black Jack worked for alot of people in the Casino fairly well.
They do have poker tournments and high stakes. Not this girl. However if your good at poker, then definetely for you.
Craps: I have no clue. I saw quite a few people winning, but didnt understand the game. If you understand craps, please post your information.
About the gambling: You can use your sail and sign cards in any of the slot machines, so you dont have to take it to the cashier until the last night of the cruise. It actualy creates a player "bank" for you. winnings are posted right to it.
You can also use your sail and sign card to get cash at the gambling tables. You will need to have your i.d with you however. Note, you can take your winning to the pursers desk, and put cash down on your sail and sign card as well.
I love poker... they have a poker table where you play just agains others on the ship. Approx 3$-6$ opening blind. you get a poker card from the ship when ya give em cash... they do not charge for the card... They only take a small percent if you are cashing in your winnings... At least you are playing against other people not the Casino. If anyone else plays poker contact me!
The wife may roll her eyes at me, but I will be playing some poker!!!
Last time we went on the Glory (its second voyage) they only had two tables running, a $3-$6 and a $5-$10. No tourneys at that time. Hope they added more tables and tourneys!!!
New tables are Didital ya sit and see everyone just fine but the dealer is electronic. You can only see your cards on the table cuz they only flip up if ya put your hand over em to cover. Betting is limit so no all in. Reminds you of playing online poker but getting the whole "putting on your poker face feel"
It ran real smooth.
You can enter or leave the table at any time
So, you can not use cash at all when gambling?
You can only put cash down on your sail and sign card?

The poker is different you give cahs and they give ya a card just for the table. You can use you sail and sign to gamble but I think they charge a small fee. Cash there is no fee
So basically, we can't put cash down on the table like in Vegas?
To summarize:
Cash buys chips at all of the game tables
Cash can be fed directly into slot machines
Use cash to buy a card to play on the Hold'em table
You can also buy chips at the gaming tables with your room card/key.
Basicaly, they give you cash and charge it to your room (sail and sign card). Which gets charged to your credit card on file.
Then you buy chips with the cash.
